I hope I’m wrong but I feel like the Neil Krug connection is a reach. 
 

He’s a successful photographer, and has worked on countless solo projects (successfully). He can stand alone and doesn’t need to get hype from other artists, so I don’t think he’d tease something for another artist, even Lana.

I agree with the sentiment that artists wanting to change and explore different things. But it's fair for fans to expect their signature sound / visuals which they initially fall in love with to present in their current project even as a tiny fragment. I'd kill to have another Tropico visuals and I'd only shut up if she ever tops that.

I’m honestly thinking it could be 50-50 (like, well, everything people posted so far, including Rob. Ben’s posts and the W mag interview are the only certitudes this far). Could be about her, maybe not. Like you said, he is a successful photographer and doesn’t need Lana to be. I love a good Neil cover or photoshoot, but Chuck also gave us very iconic covers (HBTB single cover, NFR). And also, even DNC, we’re not sure what it stands for…

I don't think anybody is asking for a 2.0 of her albums. We are just saying we want something similar to "x" cause is the easiest way to describe it.

Like when I say I want another Honeymoon I mean beautiful strings and calming dreamy production not a carbon copy of that album.

If the album is really near completion she has to announce something soon. I guess they are waiting so the dates are closer (because of the vinyl process) but if September comes and goes without anything...  

On one hand I want everything to come and be announced close together in quick succession but at the same time I'm so thirsty I'd take an announcement now even if it's still a couple of months away
