About that user that fuels rage in everyone… you can ignore their posts, by selecting that option in your settings.

you might not be able to ignore them completely (when people reply to them, you can still see their initial post), but you’ll be able to avoid WP from the mods because of a nasty reply that would be understandable. 
The ignore option was an investment in my mental health on this forum

I have no idea if it is the case, but Is it possible that they allowed it in the last but had to pay fines for it? Or were reprimanded and had to play by the book this time?
