"There's a name for it in Japenese, it's kintsugi"

 

This line is so great. She's describing a very solitaire moment in her life, "at the cafe", "in the mountains", "running away from the feelings", most likely writing and reading and then she came across the concept of kintsugi. And then she wrote this song.

Although I do prefer Kintsugi, I must say that Lana took the right route with that song: To sound like a musical, with a sweeping orchestra, for such a revealing song… it really was the right way to go.

it would be great if album was called Kintsugi. in many lyrics she's showing her fragility and all songs creates one story (literally like in kintsugi art style- all pieces connected into one element)
