Tonight, Lana Del Rey met Elle, her friends, and other fans while at V12 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Who knew a Wednesday night in Atlanta could bring so much magic?! I can officially cross off “party at the club with Lana Del Rey” from my bucket list. What started as a truly terrible day quickly turned into the best night of my life.

It’s 9pm on a Wednesday night as I’m sitting on the sofa sobbing with my head in my hands after a very stressful day. The microwave beeps to let me know that my late-night dinner of frozen Trader Joe’s vegetable dumplings are ready, and as I wipe the tears from my eyes and get up to retrieve my dumplings, my phone flashes up with a text from my friend Sabrina saying that Lana Del Rey has posted on her Instagram story that she is currently enjoying a night out just minutes from where we are. Without a second thought, I abandon my dumplings, dash upstairs to put on the first dress I see in my closet, douse my hair in dry shampoo (it was supposed to be hairwash night), throw a bunch of makeup into my purse to apply in the car, and hightail it out of there and arrive at V12 within an hour.

My best friend Kate of 11 years who was right around the corner had secured us a table and me and my friends who had also just arrived join her. My friends and I spend the next hour enjoying drinks & appetizers as we giggle about the insanity of this moment. I had just been crying. Kate was just about to go to sleep to wake up at 5am for her Pilates class. Ashea had just gotten off of work from AT&T. Sabrina & Tanya had convinced their parters to spontaneously drive them there (men of the year, truly.. that’s rare.)

We then decide to move our party up to the VIP area. The cheers are sounding and the sparklers are flying as the V12 staff greets us with bottle service and we all revel in the moment. Then, the opening chords to Summertime Sadness begin to play and we all rise to our feet to sing and dance.. and right behind us through a glass-enclosed private room is Lana Del Rey dancing along with us. After jamming to the Honeymoon classic Art Deco, Off to the Races comes on the rotation and us girls immediately get into formation to reenact the famous stage choreo. Before we know it, Lana herself is joining us on the dance floor. We spend the next half hour dancing with our favourite artist to her own music as she shows us all so much love. After 30 minutes of dancing, photographs, and signatures, she departs and us star-stricken girls end the night by belting out the words to A&W - one of my personal favourites.

What started out as a night of tears ended with the widest smile that may as well last forever. “if you’re not happy, then it’s not the ending” / “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but I have it” - LDR

hi everyone, I’m using speech to text here because I’ve been crying for the past hour and I’m home and I’m sorry I can’t even think but I just had the very best day of my life and some thing that started with a very bad day. I woke up for the Fenway Park presale couldn’t get tickets went back to bed. Immediately woke up to some drama and I was watching love Island and crying on my couch and then I got a text notification from my friend Sabrina and she said that Lana is in Atlanta. I looked up where she was and she was five minutes away from my best friend Kate. I texted her to go there as soon as possible. Get us a table, I put my make up on faster than I ever have in my life put on the first thing I knew would fit. My shoes didn’t even match and high tailed my way there. I am big thank you to Karmelo at V12 who offered us to get a bottle service private table in Lana section they started playing Lana music and we were all doing the Choreo to after the races and Lana came out and started dancing with us . She recognized me immediately and grabbed my wrist and looked at the charm bracelet that I had when I had given her my charm bracelet back in Alabama in September she remembered me and spent the next 30 minutes of dancing to her own music with us giving us lots of hugs and pictures and everything . She signed a CD I brought and my jacket and she wrote Lana Del Rey loves you and I just can’t believe it. I one of my friends took a video of when Lana first saw me and hugged me and it was at exactly 1111 and I have a clock in my room that I permanently leave at 11:11 because it is so loud I can’t sleep with it so I took the batteries out and I’ve left it permanently at 11:11 and whenever I feel really hopeless, I make a wish upon that clock and I don’t do it often  but the first time I made a wish on my clock was right before I met Lana for the first time in London and your wishes will come true. That’s the moral of the story. Don’t give up on your dreams or wishes if you want that will happen anyway I will come back to this post and type more coherently. Add some pictures but I just wanted to say all this again on my speech to text so I’m sorry if things don’t make sense  I am about to takeoff and crawl into bed because it’s almost 2 AM Wednesday night technically Thursday morning, but I just I’m so grateful make your manifestations daily speak out loud to the universe. I do that. I always say I’m so lucky that everything will work out for me even when I feel so hopeless and right now again I’ve not been feeling very great about the state of my life, but I think today was a big wake up. Call that as long as you believe something and wish upon it and manifest it it will happen , so I want to send you all lots of love. I’ll come back and edit this down later again we took a lot of shots since we had to pay $600 for bottle service but I love you all so much. I’m so happy. xx
