On the topic of the country songs we know about Stupid For Being So Flaccid is amazing I hope she earns a spot on the tracklist. Crammed By Your Ham is so 💀 to me but she’s whatever, could take her or leave her. Pabst Blue Rabies was fine ig I kinda just watched the YouTube video unfazed like 👁️👄👁️ but it didn’t really resonate with me either. If I really had to choose a cover Where The Bops Are would be an incredible Connie Francis cover and a wonderful addition to this record I still haven’t gotten over that AI audio from last week we need her for world peace

Sadly, I don't think that song will be on the record. Sounds more like a LFL outtake, and it's probably one of the many random unreleased songs that will never see the light of day.

 

She probably pulled it up to open the show out of some computer vault, like she did with that "Baby, i'm a gangster too" track just to mix it up.

 

I'm praying it's on the record (excited me far more than Henry), but it's just so 'out there' for the aesthetics that this album seems to be going for.

so i did random card picking from two card kits to question "How good album is gonna be and how Lana fans are gonna react to it?" and WE'RE SO FUCKED

 

FIRST: black wolf (more grey but closer to black than white)

while white wolf is filled with peace, love, hope, courage, the black wolf is filled with fear, anger, envy, jealousy, greed, and arrogance. wolves are mix of guardianship, teamwork and wildness.

 

SECOND: cactus

symbol of survival, protection and resilence.

 

my thoughts: well, album is going to be mid/bad. it would land in the low tier already after release. fans will be dissapointed and angry. we'll be angry at her that we waited so long and give us such a letdown project. we'll be jealous for other artist' stans who got amazing albums and we got something questionable. fans will ask Lana for another project in 2025 and they will go into delusuion making many theories. y'all will be supporting each other in this hard times and trying to survive. maybe something before release will happen that we will start to become closer than ever. i don't rule out pre-release silent and post-release silent.

This reminds me of when I put cards for COTCC album in February 2021 and I read out that the reactions from fans and the public will be disappointed/mid and White Dress will be polarizing and I was like aw shit let's hope it doesn't happen

inb4 The Right Person Will Stay is actually a double album where TRPWS is released in May and Lasso is released in September, which is why it has taken so long to be finished (4 years according to Lana), and Jack got quiet about it in that interview, and insiders teased a "secret project." Both albums will be country, but one will be swampy southern gothic and the other will be vintage country americana.

Even if the album is bad (but I believe it will be good, I mean it's not going to be a 143 lol) for some people, we still get new music nontheless AND every album of hers has a 10/10 masterpiece song and a fan favorite song, like even some of yours least favorite album has great songs, so we will be fed either way!
