 I had a dream where she crappes trpws and announced an album called "Black mascara" that's coming out in three weeks and the lead single would be released this friday, and if I remember correctly, the singles name was "M I N N A" which is a common name in my country

right like the whole “insider exclusive” is just… the most obvious thing in the world…. like yeah obviously that wasn’t the cover it was a fucking rectangle… obviously the album is not coming on a damn wednesday…

 

throws me back to when people genuinely thought the picsart bb single cover was ever “supposed” to be the album cover, and that the fuck ass petition “worked” like… no… she just didn’t do the damn photoshoot yet damn

im gonna be so disappointed if she doesn't release the album in time for the stadium dates  part of the reason i decided to cave and buy tickets was bc i presumed there might be at least two or three new songs from the album on the setlist

Well this was the original cover of NFR, until her label asked to change it so that they did another photo shoot 

 

 

BB selfie is still the official cover of TB, BB and WW singles found on streaming platforms. And if I’m not mistaken, BB music video was not shot when she was going to release Rock Candy Sweet album so it was probably her choice of album cover. I think it’s safe to say Lana makes some questionable decisions until her team/label steps in

Surely she has to, there’s no way she can play at a country festival with her current discography unless she does a covers set list

 

chemtrails can’t exactly save her because it’s just folk.. but I don’t even think TRPWS is going to have anything remotely country now either so who knows what she’s gonna do

the truth is, she just doesn't care much for the visuals anymore.

 

trailers - gone ✔️

visual albums ala Tripico - gone ✔️ (closest we got to that is the NFR three-mv set, but that was 6 years ago and it was shot with a potato)

super cinematic, high-budget videos - gone ✔️ (with the exception of the glorious Candy Necklace video, which was her finest since UV era)

music videos in general - gone ✔️ (except the occasional video, about 1 per record now as opposed to 3-4+ of her early eras)

albun covers - not quite gone as you can't do without them. But let's face it, The Right Person Will Stay cover is not giving, as was the BB selfie cover - until the label changed it. OB was a slay tho so there's still hope.

 

lana strikes me as completely not interested in the visuals anymore. She'd rather have fun with Chuck or direct her own stuff. It's kinda cool, this level of not giving a damn.
 

But she looks sooo HOT nowadays and I really want her to do a big budget sexy video again ala Burning Desire, Born to Die or Shades of Cool.
