motel six 4,896 Posted 6 hours ago i wonder if he adds on the features as official credits eventually, i’m sure the singles had their features credited until not long ago i prefer when she’s listed so it doesn’t feel like i have some random song in my lana playlist 3 Quote $$$ HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL $$$

Pico Ocean Boulevard 42,285 Posted 6 hours ago I definitely will replay the whole song in the future but I am thinking about to edit most of the song out and keep mostly Lanas part to use it as an interlude, in some playlists or somewhere on LFL or so or just to replay her part 5 Quote "Swan Song. It’s on my album Honeymoon. It’s the antithesis of hopefulness. It’s about trying to find beauty in giving up. If I had my way, I would continue to persist in all areas of my life, but it can be quite challenging because I can be too trusting too soon."

jaesana 4,212 Posted 5 hours ago It kind of does sound like 2021-2022 in the sense that her falsetto sounds a little … whistley? just comparing that to shades of cool where she reaches those notes a little stronger. I didn’t notice this much in ocean boulevard so maybe it was a 2021 thing. Who knows Otherwise I’m glad to get new content and will definitely be returning to it
details 17,645 Posted 5 hours ago i think the reason why people think she sounds unrecognizable isn't because of the high quality mic like many have pointed but the autotune. it is very autotuned i'm surprised no one pointed that out yet that is no shame tho i particularly enjoyed it, i like when lana tries new things

brandon 13,413 Posted 5 hours ago okay overall i’m glad this song exists, purely for the reason that it’s continuing her and abel’s artistic relationship, however i do not think i will ever hit play on it ever again 1 Quote last.fm

Rita Hayworth 267 Posted 4 hours ago I think it’s a conscious decision to change the tone of her voice for different songs, I don’t think the year makes much of a difference, I strongly suspect she still has the vocal clarity and agility (think about Blue Skies) to sing how she did in BTD and Ultraviolence (e.g shades of cool). But she is also like over a decade older, and probably just wants to adapt it to suit her age. Can’t be doing that baby voice when you’re almost 40. (You deffo can, but it does not have the same effect).

Totally. someone said in here once (I tended to disagree but now I’m like ehh maybe they’re right) that her falsetto is a little weaker and it could be age + vape-related. It’s complete speculation. I don’t know her and I’m not a doctor. Someone else in this thread said that they prefer her singing in her lower register and I tend to agree - I am a huge fan of when she gets down into a lower range. I melt 🫠 regardless I think she sounds great still, and I’m gonna stream everything she makes
