I think most (if not all) fanbases are toxic unfortunately. Naybe it's just because I felt those 2 albums the most during high school times, but I'm so mad about how 'fans' nowadays complains how she's not 'mainstream' anymore. Just recently she released a jazz album and at this current moment she has a song like Die With A Smile charting at number 1. Why would her doing dark pop again be a bad thing? And I don’t think she’s just copy+pasting what she did 10+ years ago. This is a return to form but it sounds fresh and elevated.
