With how lowkey she's being lately I'm not sure she will attend the MET gala... but I wish she goes there and serves looks (as always).
I know it would be so pretentious of her but what if she recreates the BTD cover look. She IS American fashion in my heart.

Meh I can't agree that she is lazy towards her writing. Violet is a masterpiece. COCC has amazing lyrics, the new three singles have beautiful writing as well. Judging by Patent Leather Do-Over, Behind The Iron Gates will be another masterpiece. The snippet of Arcadia has some of her more picturesque lyrics as well.  Her writing is only getting better. While the piano overstays it's welcome and it is getting boring and repetitive her writing on the other hand is thriving.

COCC is a staggering achievement, so fucking slept on by the fandom, and will prob be praised and adored 10-20 years from now (i really do think QFTC and all its related shit killed every ounce of public goodwill she racked up during NFR era). esp after spending time w new lorde i am in awe of lana's ability to write the most beautiful, intricate vocal melodies, which COCC highlights so beautifully.

This album sounds like she stumbled into Jack's studio after suffering sunstroke and rambled into a microphone about forks, crystals and her hypothetical daughter for 30 odd minutes.

I honestly can't wait for Arcadia. That snippet is magic to my ears.

This might be unpopular, but I think Jack‘s production is solid on this record. I like the atmosphere, instruments and summer-vibe. For me it‘s more about the weak lyrics (I can’t really relate) and her high(er) vocal range that doesnt match the stripped back sound 

Sad.

We can all agree that Jack should have stopped producing music after Lana released Venice Bitch. that song took all the talent he had

i think you're taking the wrong point from her post. she knows unreleased music will leak after her death and there's nothing she can do about it. however, she doesn't want albums of unreleased music to be released. im just confused as to why you're saying that "you dont always get what you want in life" when it has something to do with her artistry and her will which states that no posthumous albums will be released. 

Obviously she can't prevent leaks but she can prevent people making money off her music without her consent. I think that's the point. Of course she's aware of the countless leaked songs and demos that are out there.

What makes me laugh is her best review is from Alexis Petridish of the Guardian who normally gives female singers 2 or 3 lol

Yeah, I’m sorry but I agree, esp w that bolded part. Even if the sound isn’t your thing, most of the tracks do sound alike. Also, Chemtrails doesn’t even have the same sound lmao you can’t compare both of those records bc the only thing they share is that they both fall under acoustic-ish, SP being mostly acoustic/breezy/chill whereas COCC has folk-ish vibes. 
Again, not saying the album is bad, it’s just not for me, and it’s totally valid if you feel this way, or not, bc y’know all this shit is subjective lmao 

Chemtrails is Lana's worst album, but Solar Power doesn't have standout tracks such as White Dress or COCC. They are much better than anything on here. Critics agree.
 
Lorde created a parody album and it's not worth the 4 years wait.
