LFL is the stage where she's prescribed antidepressants but the doctor is still testing & fine-tuning the dosage. it's all over the place but still contained in a rather shallow and lightweight scope. 
 
to me it also feels like a kind of epilogue to her previous albums. btd, uv & hm almost kind of exist in a fantasy world, but LFL sees lana being removed from this world and retrospectively reflecting on it from a dulled perspective.

I feel like we might not even get another single.

The heart tears from her eyes symbolizes Love. She sends love to us over the ether.
Griffin/Chimera - Symbolizes Sean Ono Lennon collab.
XO - Symbolizes the known collaboration with The Weeknd.

I doubt Lana would ever release a song called Gucci Gucci. 

When I first saw the black and white trailer for Lust For Life, I wondered what all those mysterious symbols meant and thought they must have some kind of connection with the songs the album will contain. With the songs we know is going to be in the album, and with the snippets Lana has shared with us, what are your thoughts?
The shown symbols were:
A red strawberry (at 0:17) An hourglass An antique wine glass Planet Earth (Hearts from Lanas eyes as she gazes the Earth) A telephone A cooking pot/pan A galaxy X♥O A griffin (?) A moon Planet Mercury A balloon whisk The planets of the Milky Way American symbols (Mount Rushmore, Statue of Liberty) Edit: a ladder To be honest, I'm not sure if there really is a connection between the symbols and the songs anymore. I mean... a whisk? That was probably for the "What shall I cook up for the kids today?" part of the monologue. But on the other hand "XO" could've been a symbol for "Love" and the wine glass might have been for "Cherry". I also think the American symbols might be for "God Bless America".Maybe this is her way of telling us the tracklist? Will the album end with GBA?
Also, do you think we'll see more of the space theme? I loved it.

Guys i am sHoOketh!! So today i met this guy and i was talking to him about Lana, as us lana stans do and i shown him Shades of Cool and he was really surprised by how much better she was than he thought she'd be. He loved it, and i asked him why he was so shocked and he said "well you know i thought she made all meaningless dance crap", and then i asked him why he thought such horrifying things, and he said "well you know her song Summertime Sadness, it's really fast and makes no sense with the lyrics", so i was like "omg hunty noooo that's the remix, the orginial is a beautiful ballad", and he was legitimately shocked. 
 
It's sad to think how misunderstood Lana really is, her only well known song is a remix. And what's even sadder is that some people don't even realise that it's not the original, they actually think Lana would make THAT kinda music. Her real art is so unheard of and it makes me mad because her music fucking deserves so much more credit.  MESS
 
 

And possibly "When the World Was at War, We Kept Dancing"? Also a political bop, though I don't think it's confirmed for the album yet, she's thinking about it still cause I'm pretty sure she's pondering whether it's too controversial for the album cause it's dark but I really wanna hear it tbh

They all know I love Lana but I doubt that anyone listens to her part from me ofc.
 
When I first got interested, I decided to play Born to die-Paradise on Spotify in the living room so I could decide if I should buy the record or not. I remember that dad listened with me and reeeaaaallly loved Ride (so did I and it's still one of my faves ♥), he really liked her dark voice, the moody beginning and how it lifted at the end. I'm not sure if he liked any other song that much (he had aphasia (from a brain tumour)  which means he couldn't form words and sentences properly, so he didn't talk, but I understood by his face expressions and smiles). I think mom heard some songs too and thought Lana were different singers, as in a group, because. You know, Lana easily changes her voice from light to dark. Mom was impressed.
And no, I was not ready for that "my pussy taste like Pepsi cola". That moment felt emberassing even though I'm sure I was the only one who heard it. 
 
Both of my brothers follow me on Twitter, so they know how much I spazz about her. One of them likes "Million Dollar Man", but that's it I think. I made my other brother's fiancée interested in Lana too and I know she likes Video Games and have heard Lust For Life as well.
 
But when a new record drops, I like to play it out loud in the living room or in the kitchen (the kitchen radio has a record player) for myself.

The video director named the ladder in the background was also a symbol, I just realised a few days ago that it was connected to the Lust For Life music video. The hearts may be connected to the first single 'Love'.
