Anyways lana clearly remains the queen of alternative no one can touch her melodies, lyricism and storytelling so despite trolling us with terrible visuals and a lack of communication at the end of the day it’s all about the music

I haven't listened to the three new tracks since the week they came out but I've been listening to them all again the past couple days and (while I still love all three) Blue Banisters is still the true standout of the three for me. I love how soft it is, yet it's still so powerful. Her vocals on it are so incredible. The emotion in them alone. I love the lyrics despite not relating to them at all. The power and emotion in her voice alone sells the song for me. I don't even need to relate to it cause you can just feel how much it means to her. 

The "I said I'm scared of the Santa Clarita fires / I wish that it would rain" verse ends me EVERY time. The outro is also one of my favorite moments in any Lana song. It's so beautiful and soft.

Absolutely incredible set of three songs but Blue Banisters really is next level.

 

This whole thread is just the same discourse and back-and-forth every few days with silence in between  Nothing about it feels like it's to talk about the album, just rehashing what's already been said since the Chemtrails prerelease thread. At the end of the day, people can have their opinions, but I feel like I've heard everyone's a thousand times now (including my own)

has anyone noticed Jens sisters tik tok? her name is ‘mackenziestith’ & she talked abt how she herself got a chin liposuction instead of a ‘kybella’ & she said  one of her friends did kybella & it changed the shape of her face to be rounder ? & kept ranting about not doing kybella cuz it makes the face rounder.  obviously it’s probably not lana she’s referring to bc lana is more friends with Jen, mackenzies sister, but lanas face recently has looked thinner since she did the livestream for COTCC. idk it isn’t anyone’s business & she looks stunning regardless so i’m just being nosy not critiquing LDR.

Let this be clear, I'm not not a fan of disturbing art - but there has to be a place in Lana‘s recent discography for a beautiful album cover. Im fed up with other stans saying that I should wish for a non-glamorous cover when in reality I'm just a glamorous person. Can Lana please go back to covers where she feels embodied, beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or where she is dancing for money - or whatever she want -without being crucified??????
