I completely understand why she doesn't want to talk about the latest singles but I'm feeling kinda ripped off that we never got any COCC post-release explanatory notes in the form of interviews or anything. I know she talked about Yosemite way back, but I would've liked to hear why she decided to put it on COCC, how it evolved, etc. It's just a bit sad - for her and for us - that the COCC era really passed without any iconic photo shoots, etc. I'm sure they took more pics up at that house so where are they? Idk I just feel grumpy and need a nap

Yes I think this is spot on, and then she went through her I-love-Nikki phase which she is still somewhat in
Can she have an I-love-Weyes-Blood or I-love-Florence-Welch phase, though?

While there’s a good chance the car selfie may end up as the album cover, I can’t help but wonder if she’ll return to something a bit more polished.

Personally, I think it would be neat if she were sitting on a bed of grass with her eyes shut and the bed of grass closely surrounded by a ring of fire. I think it would tie in with her vows to never turn into something that catches flame while also referencing her ongoing concerns with the fires in California (specifically in Santa Clarita).

She’s been “under fire” from the media for the past decade, and I think seeing her sitting peaceful, unbothered by her surroundings could be a neat concept

Nah Fuck AB. I’m sorry but there are things that makes sense but this isn’t one of them. She supported trump openly, was transphobic, racist and discriminatory. Lana is not any of those things and does not deserve to be in the same sentence y’all are on drugs.
I leave for one day and come back to this.

At first I was going to say, how this idea would do the NFR cover dirty. However your last paragraph would actually fit perfectly into the more (introspective) narrative she‘s been into since NFR.
On the NFR cover the fires are in the background, burning down the city/land (=Americana, who am I to dream for you, the bigger picture etc) and then she arrives at your concept, where the fire is now surrounding her. Like there’s no escape from this hell for no one in a way, you know? Oh my that‘d be so great

i was listening to this album yesterday and it was a beautiful experience, i love this album and it's very special, there isn't anything quite like it, i totally agree that this album is like a kaleidoscope, every track is unique and they all serve a purpose, and although some tracks are similar in their song/style, they're all different, they all fit together perfectly, it's hard to pick a favorite when they all have something great about them, every track on this album has a specific feel & vibe, they are full of life & they're all multi-fauceted, they have depth and the album is just oozing in nostalgia, something i love about this album is the contrast between yayo and the rest of the album, the album is very colorful, bright, vibrant, and filled with life, and yayo is very subdued in it's sound and production, it's definitely the most "melancholic" sounding track of this album, it's confessional, vulnerable, hopeful, and hopeless, you can feel the pain and the vulnerability in her voice and in the production yet there's a sense of hope in this track, it's a very deep song in that way, when you listen to this track you can just tell it's something very special and very personal, and although i feel like it's different from the quirky, colorful album itself, it fits very well, amidst all of the liveliness and color, this track shows a different side of lizzy, it's lizzy at her most vulnerable, hopeful, and heartfelt, it's the perfect closing track and this is the perfect album

This is so true and probably one of the worst trends in pop culture. It creates this eco chamber where out of touch celebs say the same thing and pet themselves on the back for being so brave and moral. I would prefer the majority of celebs being "airheads" with only a few who genuinely care about politics than this. The ratings of the Oscars and Grammys shows how the public reacts to bullshit but they can't seem to get it. This has gone so far that celebs have become propaganda tools. How moral is a celeb who knowingly has young fans like Ariana and Billie and encourages them to vote for a democrat president and have a certain ideology? They're all for equality but don't bother to tour everywhere else that isn't the US, UK, west Europe, Japan and AUS.

As for Lana, she isn't far from them. She's trying to jump on the bandwagon but fails to catch the train. Dumping Kanye over being a republican? Kanye is batshit crazy but it's pretty disturbing if you decide that people who vote for a different party don't deserve to be friends with you. She reacted so poorly when people joked that she was a republican instead of laughing it off like in that furry livestream. She can still be a democrat but expressing it in a different way would suit her more. She doesn't seem radical at all giving by her her QFTC statement but I understand the pressure from her environment.

I think people are kind of starting to get the idea that Lana owes us constant interaction and social media presence, which isn't true at all. There are multiple celebrities who aren't even on social media at all and still do well/have a good relationship with their fans. If she wants to be less active on Instagram and Twitter for this era, that's totally fine with me, especially with everything that's gone on in the past year or so. Just seeing her comment section on the triple single post she made (and has since deleted) kind of made me understand why she would not be active if she's doing it intentionally. I could go on and on about the parasocial relationship thing and how it relates to Lana/her fans, but for now, I'm just going to say that I hope she's doing well mentally and taking care of herself. I've also been spending a lot more time with the singles since summer started for me and I'm loving them even more than I did before. Text Book has grown on me a lot.

Okay y'all, it's 100% clear that bullshit media about her, affects her in a bad way. Even when she says she doesn't care. She cares too much. I truly hope her trusted managers advised her to focus on her own truth and her own metal health. Maybe our girl finally realised that she can say a lot more when she makes art, than when she badly articulates what she wants to say on an interview.

    I'm waiting for QFTC pt.2

I still watch her QFTC video while In My Feelings, plays in the background.
