I hope no HBB or SFBSH. They were lame and if they are indicative of the full albums sound, then it will be a bore

She always changed her music in her albums. And Jack Antonoff is very versatile so I really don't think it will be a NFR!p2. + Tulsa Jesus Freak sounds really strange to me (the vocoder on the last part of the snippet is so bizarre) and I don't hear enormous similarities with Cinnamon Girl.

I hope COCC to be more "muscular" than NFR! : I'm thinking of desert slow songs like God Knows I Tried Flipside and Some Things Last a Long Time for a part of the album and some bangers as HBTB and SBummer on the other part.

+ I got a very strong feeling that Yosemite will be on the record.

Seriously now, when she announced the title i interpreted it as an euphemism for how americans believe in conspiracy threads; they get so used to it that when things like this pandemic happen, they automatically correlate everything to a conspiracy plan. It's like enjoying fireworks on a country club (you get surprised and astonished by the  physics of it) but ironically in her concept, it's the chemtrails.

Same with White Hot Forever, i pictured the concept of a dying universe, with a collapsing white dwarf star. Am I making sense? lmfao

what do yall think of this??
"Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails over the country club I would take this with a grain of salt but - 'chemtrails' seem to be a euphemism/imagery for cocaine - album as a whole contains biblical imagery similar to paradise - 'zac' seems to be the new 'jim' - angry and raunchy lyrics, - will probably do well with fans but not with critics cuz trashy lyrics + heavy production
    - out sep 5th - only 1 single
    - tulsa jesus freak (lead single) is similar to diet mountain dew and cinnamon girl
    - most similar to nfr but with more refined production fans will enjoy
    - black mustard is the new flower imagery
    - new announcement this wednesday"

I like to think that Lizzy and Lana are two sides of the same coin. I mean, they're not two separate people, but neither the same person. Therefore, there's an inner and profound connection between the two of them that shows a change - development if you like - over time.
As Elizabeth herself says in her song, she is "blurring the lines between real and the fake". And the fact that these entities present themeselves as distinct and well-rounded characters doesn't necessarily imply they can't also merge together. They can either shine in absolute singleness or mix things up.
(Let's remember what happens in "Doing Time": when Lana comes off the screen, she's reaching for her blonde counterpart, Lizzy, then the two meet and help each other, but in the end, once again, they split up!).

I hope that COCC - as well as any of her future albums - will continue to give us a glimpse of this ambiguous and yet brilliant relationship.

I think Chemtrails is also my favorite title. I was so disappointed when she announced WHF as the album title because it sounds super bland, generic and basic. But COCC evoques lots of imagery in your head, it has lots of potential as a concept and it brings a sense of doom that's very fitting for 2020. By far my favorite title, I really hope she comes through with the visuals, I'd love if she did something like the Bartender video but better.

Off topic but kind of relating to recent speculation-

I think it’s funny when fans talk about blonde hair, trailer park, maybe-prostitute disco mermaid wannabe redneck old school Lizzy like she’s the “real Lana” or something, when she said out her own mouth that that whole era was a phase she now cringes at.

Personally I like Lana Del Rey a lot more than lizzy grant tbh.

Chemtrails Over the Country Club is personally my favourite album title from her. It’s so Lynchian. And the juxtaposition of something luxurious like country clubs and something ominous like chemtrails kinda reminds me of how Lana described Ultraviolence as a title.

Lana has got us all, chemtrails was never real, she’s been distracting us from the truth this entire time

White Hot Forever and Chemtrails Over the Country Club feel related to me (as in "unbothered elite of America") and her recent visuals kind of underline that.
So I'm pretty sure it's gonna end up being pretty close to a concept album.

I have a felling that Lana has taken control over what leaks and that the leaks tease the vibe of her new record. All the recent leaks give me cocc vibes

About a hundred pages ago I talked about how the NFR font is in the style of Roy Lichtenstein, and I predicted that Lana is going to start a new tradition by making a visual reference to a famous mid-century American artist on each of her album covers from now on. I thought she was going to reference Slim Aarons for this cover and I was wrong about that, but I was still right overall because the cover is going to be shot at a Frank Lloyd Wright house!

This image is of Kylie Jenner in the shoot at the same location that @@cinnamongirI mentioned. I would DIE if the cover was anything like this.

Ok if the cover is up on that hill I love that it’s the opposite perspective of the NFR cover, with her being up on the hills that were on fire in the background of the NFR cover
