The new lyrics for BAR are welcome change to the song and show how mature she has become over the years. She no longer blames her lover solely for the failure of their relationship. She takes the same part of the blame and shows her sympathy towards her ex. He might be an asshole, a narciss  and a loser on surface. But she sees through him, his inner beauty. She wasnt strong enough to keep up with his mood before but she is strong enough to carry him now, to be his support Its really a nice change of perspective. From the weak hurt girl that needed to be carried by her man to the strong person that can be the saving boat for others.

When Lana sings "I'm facing the greatest loss of them all" she's talking about planet earth and thats that on that.
 

guys i officially LOVE how to disappear. Driving around the the album in the rain is actually fantastic, i was crying for the entire second half of the tracklist. I genuinely love every single song on the album now, this might just be her best album. Literally no bad songs or meh songs im in love with this woman.

You did give me Jordan Peterson fanboy vibes, glad we could clarify that sweetie! 
 
Please google 'punching up' so you can wrap your little head around why sexism isn't a black and white issue, and while you're at it, why a woman calling herself a 'little venice bitch' is far, far removed from a man calling a woman a bitch 

HTD has grown on me so much. Reading another user’s post about how the bells and overall sound reminded them on Lana singing in a small bar or lounge or something (sorry - probably totally butchered what you said ) made the album version click for me. Her voice, the music, the lyrics...the song gives me huge Honeymoon vibes. It’s starting to become one of my favorites on the album.

I always took it as...she likes the finer, material things (diamonds) that can give life texture as opposed to her man who prefers a more simple (earthy?) way of living. Also, for me, the crimson and clover line ties in nicely with “you’re in the yard, I light the fire” and “now we’re back in the garden...”. They help paint that atmosphere that makes VB so *chefs kiss*

This is a hell of a way for him to come out.

one of the many things i love about the lyrics is the incorporation of basic, normal, day to day technology. it really makes her retrofuture concept richer... from the videocalls with her lover and father respectively in Venice Bitch and Hope to the live location/map sending in Happiness <3 
 
it's so refreshing because they're things we do and use every single day yet no one in music is singing about them

Cinnamon Girl sounds like a pink nuclear bomb, that's the best way I can describe it I don't know why.
