She has a wide vocal range and can do both high and low notes but sings with a lower voice because she felt that she wasn't being taken seriously as an artist (This was back in 2011). As of now I doubt that's an issue anymore, it probably just became a preference to sing at a lower range over time.
 
I don't really think her voice is muffled either, that reverb/filter effect she puts on her voice is a part of her recording style & shes been doing that since the start of the Ultraviolence era (Once Upon A Dream).  She probably wanted to try something new after BTD, experimented, found something she liked and ran with it.

In the meantime try your best to focus on things like this. You have visual talent that can actually take you somewhere in life, don't lose sight of that.

I think for future precausion there should be security with Lana when she interacts with fans. We don't want to keep worrying about opportunist like this trying to make a move. We already had that unfortunate event with Christina Grimmie in Orlando for just trying meet her fans (Rest her soul). I don't want to see anything like that happen again.

At her show tonight in San Diego, Lana declared that she has a new song titled 'Sylvia' that is inspired by Sylvia Plath! This along with Bartender.. could possibly mean a new project sooner than we thought! 

5th time seeing Lana. Got my second selfie with her. Was an AMAZING night and I took so many videos. I got to talk to her briefly before she took pics with me!!! So incredible.

Okay ladies TEA!! She has a new song called Sylvia (Sylvia Plath inspired!!) also Chuck said Cherry video is coming in a couple/few months!!
