I love how more stripped and relaxed the vinyl version is. Wish we had it on streaming platforms. I get why ya'd say that, it kinda directs the records atmosphere towards an island beach house balcony vibes imo
 
I- Lol mm me too admittedly, but at the time, I loved it bc I thought, still think the melody's so beautiful. Tourlyfe makes me chuckle but I mean, I look at it as some kind of comm endearment. But. Being objective about it, idk my gut's saying there's an inherent value to the track. Maybe its the melody in the verses, in contrast to the seemingly lack of composure in "dont b a jerk .. I just wanna dance with you" , and the relcutant swooping of longing to it. Then there's the natural sway of the track, and how the concepts of happiness swim in and out of it sonically, just like it does narritively thru the lyrics. I think the "baby's" and "crazy's" round it out, while the "hurt" parts bring it back to earth.
The solemness that she returns to after all the emotional gyrating, when she sings she just wants to dance? Cold but tender at the same time it's like being caressed a soft breeze wtf I'm ranting does this make any sense hahahahahaha
 
But yes. There's value there. Still reveling at the diff parts of the record than looking at it focusedly as a whole. But all I know is. She came out stronger through this record, and that there's this emotional, and overall integrity to it thats real refreshing

The articals showing that vaping is killing/making people sick are almost entirely from thc,illicitly sold chinese based vape juice that use cheap vitamin e as a stabilizer for the oil for thc or cbd.The center of disease control literally has the statistics online for anyone to view and the major consensus as per them is "THC is present in most of the samples tested by FDA to date, and most patients report a history of using THC-containing e-cigarette, or vaping, products."
 

I thought it was cute! I want to get the audio to add to my li'l "Lana Christmas and Chill" playlist with Santa Baby, Smarty, Be My Daddy (open like a Christmas present...), and the trailer-park songs mentioning Christmas lights and silver tinsel (Trash, etc)

They sound lovely together, Lana just looks very *sad trombone* next to Kacey who's all glamour and retro and christmas and effort

Wouldn’t it be cool if Lana made this album like a pair with the poetry book? She could alternate on the album between actual songs and tracks of her reciting poetry over instrumentation. Idk I was just thinking about how cool a concept that would be. Kinda like Burnt Norton on HM but her own poetry and maybe over like pianos or acoustic guitar and have at least one on every side or even one between every song. Kinda similar to Joan Baez’s Baptism, but like self-written of course. I know that’s likely not what this album will be, but we do know nothing, so anything is possible.

i had a beautiful day w my best friend yesterday and on our way back home we discussed NFR and we got kinda emotional haha and then we played the whole album and died. NFR was like a friend this year

Last week NFR was 23rd most played song on BBC RADIO 1. Impact.
