Don't know how old or out of date this info may be, but it says "[Patricia Hill-Grant] currently lives in Lake Placid, New York with her husband. They have remained out of the spotlight of Del Rey's career but often travel with her on tour."  But we see her dad all the time in photos, etc.  But never her mom.  Sounds like there's more to this story...

So what do we know about Lana's mom?  I never heard or seen a peep about her.  Clearly she's not in the picture anymore?  Parents divorced?  Lana is estranged from her?  It's just hitting me now that somehow Lana's been completely silent about her mom.  Or has she?

This is true, she brought it up in response to the allegations that her daddy bought her carreer. She said that after she decided to be a singer her family was not supportive and they didn't talk for several years. Then one day her dad randomly came and saw her sing and when he saw how much she loved it he finally ~ got it ~ and after that they were on good terms again.

he's garbage. i'm mad for her that she has to share the cover with him. i'm infuriated that he's in her photos - he's trash. trash trash trash.

I wonder why she keeps talking about being restricted with her family and opening up fully... like was she abused? I remember someone on her had a conspiracy from one of her poems that her and her mom had a toxic possible relationship? kinda interested what she means... saying she still has family alive
