This is cute, she looks happy and that’s all anyone can want. I just hope this doesn’t cause fans to start randomly coming to this high school to try to see her. I always feel bad that she probably can’t go places more than a few times because people follow her everywhere.

Tbh I’m still skeptical about this cop boyfriend but I don’t know what their relationship is like or what they see in each other or how they influence each other, so I try to stay out of that part.
But I do think going to a highschool football game is cute, no matter who her boyfriend is. Like it’s one of the most average American lifestyle type things to do so it’s such a Lana thing to do. Maybe she won’t have kids of her own so at least she gets to live part of the “mom” experience. I doubt it will last (who knows though) but it’s cute she gets to play step-mom for awhile. It’s like an instant family for her to go do cheesy all-American activities with. Plus we know mom activities, though “dorky”, are generally healthy. As long as he’s not pushing his politics on her, this relationship could do her good and be a nice break from the artsy bad boy types. It just looks cute and fun for her to get to play laid back step mom for a bit. If anything it can be a test for her to see if she even wants an average life someday.

I'm genuinely pleased that your particular drinking issues have moved from being a problem, to you being able to drink socially, while keeping control. I do want to take issue with the idea that addicts who insist on total sobriety are being 'delicate'. For many of us, that look in eyes of our friends when they see that first beer in our hands, is because they know that times are just about to to get very very dark indeed, and that there's at least a year to come of chaos, job loss, relationship destruction and personal devastation. None of this is down to being 'judgy' or pc - just down to experience.

The fact that Rob joined Lana on tour as if he hasn't ever done that to her daughter before? Assuming that dancer's instagram post is immediately about Lana JUST CAUSE you know her as Lana's dancer doesn't mean her lifer revolves around Lana that every shade she throws is immediately about Lana, and the other points @@Valerie has made.. 
Also really funny back pedalling saying that you don't want Lana to derail since you don't approve of her going to Oktoberfest when literally in the other thread you said so yourself, you're just anticipating the trainwreck. It's obvious you've come to hate Lana and you have all the right to feel however you wanna feel and have opinions but anticipating something bad to happen to her just cause you disagree with her unclear views and stances on politics and shit is really fucking distasteful. As someone else posted, we don't know how much he knows about her past. It's not like I've ever told a new boyfriend within the first month or two of dating that I was an alcoholic. To many people, going to a beer fest is a very normal/date type thing too do. I know when I was dating my fiance I didn't disclose it right away and drank lightly when he took me out.
 
Besides all that, we dont know if she drank or not (yet) and even if she did, it's her life. One of the worst things for me as a former alcoholic is that weird stage when your inner circle is low key judging you the first time they see you with a beer in your hand and thinking your going to fall into a relapse and not understanding that you have gotten over it and can handle drinking normally like anyone else again.

Being able to drink again without self destructive behavior is not a relapse.
 
But we can agree to disagree. I'm glad sis looks healthy and having fun with her new man.
