we also have not seen the dang video, who knows how many jewelry changes/outfit changes she could have! at least she looks stunning/makeup/lips on point, hair looks witchy, red nails its gonna be a SERVE

but that's exactly the aesthetic they're going for... I mean, lana loves her kitsch and tacky glam stuff since lizzy times and I LOVE it too even if I'm never wearing stuff like that I just appreciate that tacky stuff exists lol 
I can totally see where these looks are coming from and I'm so excited to see her playing more with that aesthetic

Truth is even Lana does not know when this album is coming exactly. We blame Lana but it’s likely her label which change the dates. She’s hesitant to say anything more incase it’s change again, but indicates October for sure.

COTCC - September 4th! Elusively said “soon” because it’s gonna be announced 12 hours before it drops! Insert Mariah Carey gif! 

I can't stop thinking about this. I honestly don't know what direction she's going to go, but it seems like this one has the potential to be as cohesive as HM

LANA is strategic, she is a marketing queen, she rebranded herself after Lizzy Grant EP,  she knew she wasn't gonna post the video in august (yesterday) bc she was probably tired after 2-3 days of filming , so she made the lil teaser on set to post to insta this week when she felt she had time to drop us a hint/news!

I want songs with BRIDGES (I would die if there’s a freak demo bridge serve on this album)

Lana said it's coming out Sep 5th, so it is coming out Sep 5th. She just isn't talking about it because it's a "surprise release". She is not gonna pull a Kanye and miss her own release date.

literally none of this will matter if cotcc is released this week, it's not going to matter whether or not she annouced any pre-order or did anything to confirm it's coming out. how could you want to wait another MONTH just so the album could have a proper release? 
 
she did say it was going to be a surprise, and maybe by surprise, she meant no information before hand? in a sense, it is still a surprise because we don't know what to expect.

But QOBUZ told me the album was getting released on October 2nd, but then they edited that message and told me it was actually coming out on September 5th, but they don't have a very precise schedule...

The thing is, even if she delays the album a bit, we know she's working on it. She's doing photoshoots and filming MVs, it's not like we don't know anything about what is she doing. And like someone here said, if she's working on visuals these days must be because the music is already done. Even Ben said that new Lana music is coming soon and his "soon" are not the same as Lana's.
