I made a mockup for what I would LOVE to see for TFJ 15th anniversary (although it will probs not happen)
I know it doesn’t look the best but I had to place every single letter one by one and make them join up for the tracklist bit and it took HOURS of hell.

help this just reminded me how my high school french teacher who i also had for study hall let me call my grandpa during class so i could buy the 7” boxset cause i needed his credit card info and was really desperate cause i already missed the signed ones (wishing her the best in life )
but like honestly?? in terms of her physical releases froot was really nice. aside from the 7” boxset, we got the white vinyl, standard black, and all those cassettes
along w ALL the clothes and accessories?? whew!!

Right likeeeee that was an ERA! it might not have had a huge budget, but wow those photoshoots? the tour?! the vinyl!! the MUSIC!!! it was FUN!

It had great photoshoots, an exciting rollout for Froot, Happy, IAR, Immortal and Forget, fun music videos and a good tour. What's there not to like?

honestly if I was her I would rebrand again.. has she got anything to lose? She should've just gone by Marina Diamandis to begin with, it's such a unique and pretty name and sets her apart.. that is if she really feels like she outgrew Marina & The Diamonds completely
as for her music, Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land was amazing sonically, perhaps one or two less ballads would've helped it, what she really has to tone down are the lyrics.. I haven't heard a song similar to New America before, it's got a Bond-esque vibe, but then you hear the lyrics ADIAML was a step in the right direction sonically but lyrically she hit an all time low, I'd rather have L+F lyrics with ADIAML production if she just can't get it right like she did for her first 3 albums

Most are fine just the way they are (or almost) :
Every man gets his wish, Children of the bad revolution, I talk to Jesus, Summer of Sam, Unidentified Flying Bill, Dragonslayer, Pink Champagne
But a well-reworked and well-produced version of Ben would have a chance of becoming my favorite.
