I love the after school melodies! But I could see how people wouldn’t be a fan of them. 
 
Also it’s annoying (imo) when people complain about people having negative opinions, I’ve seen it so much here lately. It’s a discussion board, like it’s literally meant for all opinions people aren’t annoying as fuck for stating theirs. The people complaining about the complaining are actually the annoying ones but whatever 

She really lost her ability to write good melodies. Cry Baby had amazing melodies that would be stuck in my mind 24/7. Her vocals on the new ep are amazing, but the melodies just sound basic. Did she make any effort matching the lyrics with the melody?

i’m excited for her next project i’m hoping MM3 will drift away from the baby/child themes and go more into this angel/astrology concept people have been speculating about

I received my copy of book this afternoon and just finished reading it a few hours ago. I found it as interesting as her music, quite sentimental and genuine. Some poems (and especially the haikus) gave me a feeling of sadness and loneliness.  A slight tightening in the chest. And when a book evokes feelings it's because the author caught you. Lana got me! The guy who likes suspense and horror books reading poetry lol 
Looking forward to the second book.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty shook that Lana has not posted anything about the release of Violet. It's almost like it doesn't matter or deserve the attention. She seems very proud of her poetry. I just don't get what the silence is about. It's a huge deal.

I love that some of the poems have her handwriting and scribbles around them exploring different ideas/words to use and how she's thinking about structuring it.
There's also ink blots and coffee stains on some of them lmao
