i can't stop listening to white dress. i think it's genuinely my favorite Lana song. I've never felt more personally connected to a song before. sure, its a very specific song lyrically. (particularly the orlando and men in music business conference lyrics) but it's so funny that she released it while I'm also 19, trying to find myself, living for the little moments where i feel invincible, no matter how sparse. ugh, I've been so sick these past few days and haven't gotten any better. this album has helped me bare through the pain, though. it's definitely not my favorite of her albums (norman, honeymoon, and ultra will always be my holy trinity) but it's definitely top 4. it's such a good springtime album.

Despite me not connecting with the album on first listen, I do love that Lana continues to evolve and change with each album and in her own unique way. She never keeps things static for too long. It makes each album special.
 
I really loved how the album started with White Dress which was immediately unique compared to anything else she''s released. I also think it's the song that meant the most to me lyrically.
 
The buildup of Tulsa Jesus Freak was really good. I can see why the album was almost called White Hot Forever.

I'm so sad that this album doesn't click for me... It's just boring and plain to me. I loved all of Lana's albums, NFR was great but felt simplistic to me (but still her best, don’t get me wrong), and I was already afraid she would make the production etc more simplistic.
 
Idk, maybe I'm just more a production whore than I thought I was. I really loved the cinematic theme of Honeymoon, trap inspired L4L, psychedelic rock Ultraviolence, dark and modern BTD+Paradise and raw yet simplistic NFR. This album feels like a more empty version of NFR to me

Damn, your patience is out of this universe ? And then there's me, wishing for no more CoCC snippets so I can experience the whole experience all at once... only to be cracking out to the leaks in the middle of the night. 

you REALLY have no idea what to expect, I listened to it 3 times and I'm still shook about how different this album is (in a very good way)

I have yet to listen to the album and lowkey I’m kinda scared to. NFR set the bar SO high for me. Even though Lana has really never let me down musically, but I have no idea what to expect (I haven’t listened to anything from COTCC yet).
