Obviously, the story she's telling is that the man she was hoping would fix the hole in her heart didn't, but now her friends and family are fixing it instead. Seems positive. But the way it's written, to me, it seems like she thinks she's unlovable and unable to find the true man for her, so she has to just be happy with her friends and family instead.

I must have missed where she mentioned it! That makes me sad for her, though—it sounds like she had a really clear vision for it. 
 
Given that Chuck would likely be involved in something more homemade (and how relatively recent the theft was), I wonder if Lana lost the entirety of her footage or if Chuck already had a decent amount of it. I can’t imagine how disappointing that is for her
 
All of that said, I still have really high hopes regardless of the visuals. After Lana suggesting uncertainty over releasing COCC and the alleged last-minute tracklist change to Blue Banisters (according to BoZ), it really excites me that—even after the theft and the potential for a leak—she stated how confident she is in this record.
 
She’s mentioned that she generally has a good idea of how well her albums will be received, and given how assured she is in this record, I think LDR9 could be one of her biggest since NFR! Time will tell

i think she’s trying to make this her magnum opus album cause it’s her ‘tenth album’. that’s why she’s kinda forcing violet as an album cause she wants to make this her tenth and best album

I’m hopeful too, ben has been teasing this project for a while now and he seems very excited about it, lana said to a fan in december that this one would be better than BB, the one insider who seemingly has listened to it is excited as well, the W Mag issue was stunning and glamorous which imo means lana takes it seriously, I feel like it’s gonna be a big deal just like norman but with the artistic direction of an album like honeymoon
I’m not against a couple releases by the end of the year btw, just to have a glimpse of what the whole record could be like

It would be cool to see her release another album that critics, a majority of fans/general public, and Lana herself all consider her best. I wouldn’t trust insiders when it comes to predicting the critical reception of an album though. I remember some insiders saying that Solar Power would be Lorde’s most acclaimed/best album, and it ended up being one of the worst reviewed albums of the year. BOZ seemingly loving this album despite hating her past 2 albums is what gives me hope for this.

I know that it's not Lana's fault that I'm bored because I have like 2 assignments to finish and stuff but like, mmm, the only thing that could take me out from my boredom cocoon would be an album announcement or a surprise single released... Today. 

Lana has struggled to tell the truth in the past, and im choosing to believe this was one of those occasions

I also love how everybody here is extremely respectful and genuinely concerened for her yet some people enter this thread only to attack completely innocent people just because they got excited over leaks at one point. We all have.
But any situation is good enough to point fingers and feel morally superior I guess. 

imagine if lana & taylor recorded 2 collabs & put one on each of their albums kind of like the first time tom petty & stevie nicks collaborated & they did one for each of their albums... i know it is unlikely but a girl can dream 
this is a once in a lifetime type collab. it is like if paul mccartney & brian wilson did a song together. the magic of it!

the album title is "Last Minutes of Daylight" and the songs are going to be lengthy, wordy ballads of Lana rushing to get home on the freeway before her groceries melt in the (hot, hot, hot) LA heat. 

I had a dream last night that was set in future and Lana was pregnant with K's child and she had only released a jazz version of she's not me, since blue banisters.
Plus, Kourtney Kardashian was in her baby shower and Lana said to her that woolridge is the last name of k and it's not her middle name
