I still believe she hasn’t posted yet

and since the press said these are “buzz singles” the video she shared last month must be the (still unheard) lead single!

I really hope we don’t have a huge huge wait between these and the album

'Text Book' gets better with each listen, it's giving me 'Heroin', 'Get Free' and 'West Coast' fusion. I stan.

Text Book is the song I had literally no expectations for, but it turned out to be the absolute serve of this triple release.

she mentions being in the hospital after the line about her mother (wildflower wildfire) so maybe she had her admitted?

Damn. Referring to her as "his wife" and not even her mother....whew. Sad to have theories confirmed.

Welp. The triple single release closes a lot of threads.

I honestly want to take a moment and appreciate hiadt because I think without it, we wouldn't really have songs like White Dress, Blue Banisters, and maybe even Textbook. I know people like to joke about Jack's 'piano flops' but it really, really woke up the melancholic singer/songwriter in Lana imo. it's still one of the most depressive songs I know

I deleted twitter for the reason that ppl take it as their full time job to misinterpret and misconstrue basically every singer’s lyrics as a way to feel important. These ppl aren’t happy in their real life so I show them some compassion but either way twitter isn’t the real world - just other fanbases spewing negativity as usual. They’d pick apart literally anything she says for some engagement.

TS stans on Twitter getting real brave for willfully misinterpreting lyrics. Do they need random capitalizations in the liner notes to understand what’s going on?

The new songs are a lot to take in they have such complexity and lyrics. Definitely going to take a good few listens to really feel them.

So if she’s giving us everything on time this era, then we should be getting the next single “Rock Candy Sweet” on June 1st and the album on July 4th!  And hopefully the album cover is the first pic she posted with Blue Banisters caption in that blue denim shirt. ??

    absolutely not luv
these 3 songs all have more going on than most anything from Chemtrails... not saying they're inherently better, but the vocal production /instruments are all way clearer than the muted sound we got on Chemtrails. I agree the single covers are awful but that's easy enough to change. I think there's an obvious improvement with these songs in terms of production & vocal delivery.
