I think since she posted that video announcing everything, the ‘surprise’ part of the album was dropped, she didn’t say the 5th because it’s not coming the 5th. 
 
If it’s going to he streaming only the 5th like so many of you claim, and you also say it takes a day max to upload an album, they wouldn’t be keeping hush hush about it because there’d be no risk

There is no way in hell this is coming on Friday. I think it's safe to say we will hear LMLYLAW by next Friday at least. I'm curious as to why it has been described by insiders as this era's MAC... I wonder if it is sonically similar or lyrically. I liked MAC and it's a great song of hers so I'm excited although I didn't love it really until I heard it in the context of the album. 
 
I may be in the minority here but TJF sounds a bit basic to me for her standards, that chord progression is a little tired but I'm sure the song will evolve as what we heard sounds like a verse

I need Let Me Love You Like a Woman as soon as possibile

I thought they were released one week after another.

I think she may drop LMLYLAW in like... 2 or 3 weeks, and i think the album can be out in 2 months more or less, yes she said soon but her manager said it's not finished and we know she's been doing things these pasts weeks so i'd say 1/5 - 2  months until the album

all of you people saying you won’t be hyped if it’s delayed for a month like you won’t be freaking the fuck out when that music video drops and shaking your ass to tjf 

There is no definition of soon it can mean anything.. weeks or months, Ben didn’t say album soon it was Ed her other manager.  He said ‘New music coming soon’ that can mean a single not necessarily an album.  She’s made it obvious that no album is coming Saturday and trustable sources have said it’s delayed, she’s still doing a music video! That isn’t going to come after the album is out that makes no sense.  She said violets is coming this month, so clearly the focus will be on that. 
 
you can still choose to believe it’s all an elaborate sham and lie to hide a surprise release, but very little is pointing towards it.  If it was going to be a surprise release she’d not have mentioned 5th September to begin with ??‍♂️  
 
it’s just classic confused Lana not knowing what she wants to do and being indecisive. We have had 6 albums of this so we should be used to it by now.

Ya'll gonna be mad at me and yes I'm delusional BUT just consider this for a moment:
 
In Lana's video, I got the impression that she was somewhat mocking the whole date thing, but in a playful way. What if (and please don't sub-quote me and get all bitchy), it is coming on the 5th Sep, and she was purposefully dodging a straight answer as a means to keep the air of mystery surrounding COCC.
She gave a solid date for Violet ("this September"), but for COCC she said it's 'coming soon'.
 
Some stores don't have a date for COCC, but only just a few do (like the store that got info from UMG saying it was coming on the 5th, as opposed to some stores who probably just googled the date). It's possible the album got postponed, but what if Lana can suddenly pull it back and release it at the date she intended?
 
I do believe some info will come this week, and I do still have a small bit of hope that the album will be released digitally on the 5th (again, don't get all bitchy), but I don't think it'll be long to get the album if it is postponed. Most likely the first week of October.
 
 

#TeamDelusional is starting to lose members and i’m sad 

No she made a post that said two end of summer jams coming out next week, and the next week on the day MAC had a radio premiere and the week after that VB did too

Based on recent information she’s given us and what other stores are saying*: 

- I think LMLYLAW is coming in the next 2 weeks
 
- I think she’ll have the pre-order/ post the cover/tracklist/album trailer in 3 weeks with the title track as a promotional single 
 
- I think we’ll have a few magazine covers with interviews scattered about over the next month 
 
- the music video for the title track will come out second week of October 
 
- album drops third or fourth week of October 
 
She made it seem like both LMLYLAW and the COTCC video will be out before the album. 
 
The album probably started being mastered in mid-July and 3 months from then would be mid-October, which is when the album will probably come out. I think she wanted to have all the formats be available at the same time if she could for a more traditional release; with LFL she added songs right before her deadline and that’s why she had a delayed vinyl release, but she hasn’t really started any promotion with this record yet so she could afford to just wait a month so everything would be ready at once.
 
*Holding onto this ONLY once September 5th passes and when we don’t get the album, until then, #TeamDelusional 

My delusional theory is that the album is coming out on September 5th. She did mention the album is coming soon and violet this month. But as in a matter of speech first things come first, album will be released then violet will be released. She could just mess things up just to make it a bigger surprise.

Its not the depression that made BTD iconic. Its how dedicated she was to the aesthetic and grandiosity. BTD title track video was glamorous and was a metaphor of a dying relationship as told through her literal death. NFR title track video was recorded with an iphone vintage filter and was her sitting around her house singing 

there really is no usual period. Sometimes it’s a matter of days, sometimes weeks, sometimes over a month
