    salvatore is chicken cacciatore

i remember playing salvatore for my italian mother for the first time and at the chorus she went "cacciatore?? that's a chicken dish" and then she got inspired and made it for dinner that night. so soooo yummy

you're not wrong. tbh i don't really care if people are paying money for natal chart readings & aura cleanses or whatever, but a lot of these white ~silver lake shaman~ types heavily appropriate & bastardize native american culture, exploit natural resources without caring about the consequences (to the point that white sage & palo santo have become endangered, for example) all while claiming to be eco-friendly & generally cater almost exclusively to well off white people after cherry-picking their spiritual offerings from other cultures.

and i don't have a problem with her using her platform to help her friends, but your last paragraph is spot on. her bougie bubble is becoming more and more apparent.

It's still confuse to me why/how Lana has so many unreleased songs... Especially the pre-BTD ones, why so many wasted material?
She had the acess to record sessions that seem so expensive and laborious even without having a prediction of when they would be released?

Is it really "can you fade inside of mine"?

I've always heard "can you face this heart of mine" but idk. What does "fade inside of mine" even mean. Like it doesn't make sense?

Also does she not say something in the chorus after "take me there" but before "I've been waiting to meet you"? It sounds like "late at night" or "me alive". Idk there's definitely something there.

Remain calm. This is not new news. Just sharing from the classic Bowie album Hunky Dory 1971. Until you get Lana's poetry maybe this will do.

The tactful cactus by your window
Surveys the prairie of your room
The mobile spins to its collision
Clara puts her head between her paws
They've opened shops down the West side
Will all the cacti find a home
But the key to the city
Is in the sun that pins
The branches to the sky, oh, oh, oh

Might seem stupid but does the partial sentence case stylising of the Norman Fucking Rockwell tracklist bother anybody else? I know it became a trend in 2018 for artists to go lower case, like Billie Eilish (don't smile at me and WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?) and Ariana Grande (Sweetener and thank u, next) seem to do now. But the sentence case just looks messy, both Norman Fucking Rockwell and Halsey's Manic do this...

The lack of punctuation in Fuck it I love you bothers me too!

I'd much prefer it to look like this so it kinda matches her other records when in playlists etc.

Here while finishing a Lana marathon. I played today all of her studio albums -starting with BTD-, and got to the conclusion that NFR is, by far, her most honest, and maybe also her more mature one. I wasn't in love at first with how she sonically did things with the album, but listening to it just after all of her earlier work made me realise how brave she's been putting an absolutely unexpected approach, both instrumentally and vocally, also production wise, and of course lyrically. The heaviest part of all of this it's that she's made an amazing and absolutely rich music career in just 8 years. Thinking about many big artists that haven't reached her level of quality and creativity, her incredibly level of sound distinctiveness even spending full decades in the industry and creating. Imagine what's yet to come regarding her future. Love you, Lana.

Literally all of the No Kung Fu songs are on the AKA album except Jimmy Gnecoo - which is confirmed to be an outtake by David Kahne and then there's Get Drunk.. I really think it was re-worked too with the title Bounce
  19. mkultraviolence liked a post in a topic by Ebola in Get Drunk
this makes a lot of sense, since jimmy gnecco is on NKF as well and also confirmed to have a studio version produced by kahne

Idk if this has been addressed before but is the unreleased David Kahne produced song ''Bounce'' the same song as Get Drunk? I just looked on Lana Wiki and it says on the Get Drunk page, ''the original demo file leaked on July 2, 2017 and one of the ID3 tags is labeled as 2007-08-14 Bounce 2''. All of the other songs on No Kung Fu, we know that they were re-made for AKA, so it would make sense if Get Drunk was re-made too like the other songs - maybe it was one of the songs with 2 titles

He has a bunch of Neil Krug photos of Lana in his books. If Neil finds out this guy is making money off his photos....

Has anyone here heard the new Zella Day song released Friday? I bring her up because she's working with Neil Krug and Dan Auerbach. Dan produced her new song "People Are Strangers" and the song and video is very beautiful. I wish Lana would work with Neil again. Her work with her sister is boring and unimaginative. What Neil could have come up with for the NFR photo shoots and album cover would have been amazing.
