im not a halsey fan but i loved badlands, like, it's that album. i would say it's as iconic as born to die 

so after listening to each album twice and omg badlands is right that sound i adore in music, really dark and hard, but the rest is just not it, i only liked girl is a gun, without me and ashley, ty to everyone who answered to me

Has anyone noticed how Get Free ended with a beach/shore & seagulls atmosphere, and her making NFR the next record with the album cover being her on a boat in the ocean by the beach? Idk I thought that was clever.

Lana doing a psychedelic rock album which melds Ultraviolence and some of the lowfi production of High By The Beach and ethereal spookiness of Freak. Opening her tour shows with Cult Leader and closing with a cover of Pink Floyd - Great Gig In The Sky. 
 

Totally agree. When songs have been finished, I like them most of the time. There a few I adore, but most of them are just meh. I don’t get when everyone on LB loses their shit when a bland demo leaks or an unfinished concept and everyone is like: “it’s better than half of (insert the album it could have been part of)!!!” Like, no, it’s not. With a lot of unreleased, I think it’s the “One that got away” syndrome that is in full effect: had those been released on an album and we wouldn’t even be talking about them most of the time.

Change is a really touching song but for some reason I just don't like listening to it.

I have never listened to AKA as a cohesive album, I could not give you the track listing if you held a gun to my head, and I have no intention of changing that. 

I have a similar thought but kinda opposite. I feel like some people don't rank BTD (and specially Summertime Sadness) higher on their lists so they don't look like fake fans or locals
