She's got excited because she read through the RCS thread and laughed hard because we believed she would release a new album this early

That's exactly what we're all here for 

Lana recieves a lot of unfair hate and crticism and some music "journalists" seem to love to bash her for the sake of it.  Some articles are so disgsating to read, you instantly notice that the author just wajted to hate on her for her looks or a lyric on BtD, and did not even listen to the new music once.
 
On the other hand she seems to like her role as a victim as she does everything to reinforce it. And with all the bs she did during the CoCc era, she shouldn't be suprised. 50% of the album promo was her doing weird and "controversial" stuff that wasn't even related to the music. And this "lashing out" on social media has lost all its charme since like 2012.

Late, but this made me so happy, especially after all she went through this recent past year  Idk why but it reminds me of after you're done crying and feeling like shit, the first smile afterwards or just the first feeling of something really good after a difficult time. And you feel happy to be here  Beautiful. 

I think it’s used as an adjective, like you said. Similar to how she’s used the lyrical motif “white-hot” on Chemtrails, meaning “as hot as white (flames)”.

I think that the title is sort of a juxtaposition. rock candy is hard (fun fact: when i was 8, i lost a loose tooth to rock candy), but it's also sweet and sugary. so there's the hard side, but then there's also the sweet side. i don't know if the title is actually like that or if she just thought of it in her head as something random and was like "hm, sounds good", but i'm looking forward to figuring out the meaning of it either way. 

How many songs ya’ll think we’re gonna get? I would love at least 12 wig-defying tracks full of yelling, dissing, and dreamy Blake guitars

I do feel a bit like COCC is to NFR as Paradise is to BTD
 
COTCC and Paradise feel sonically and thematically located a little farther away from the “city” whether that be New York or LA. They feel like she’s searching for new ground (on Paradise, out in the desert. On COTCC, in the rural Midwest). Also both, projects are shorter than their predecessors but connect with sonic themes from them 

if this album even exists, i really want it to sound like thunder with a mix of i talk to jesus and the good life BUT with dan auerbach influences. or in other words, we're overdue for another uv-sounding album

Rock Candy Sweet is sending my imagination just like White Hot Forever did when it was announced.

Like I feel like she was insecure about Chemtrails because she didn’t know her next step in life and having that formed into an album was really making her uncomfortable because she didn’t know how we would respond to it. Maybe that’s why she sent the album to the vinyl plants so late because she was like 3 months with music ready but with a lot of doubts about what to do with it.
now, with RCS she already knows the sound and the way she’s taking. So, even though I have Lana trust issues, I’ll say it’s pretty probable that she’s really releasing it in June. Even her management liked it.
she deleted the stories because they were, you know, pretty polemical. And about the Instagram and the yt, she just released an album, her team still wants the album to have attention and they deleted it.
