Does anyone think this is an attempt to take back control of her image in some way? I feel like being somewhat mysterious was always like part of her image but with the whole social media scandals she kind of lost that and I feel like people stopped talking about her as they did before like as a great artist, I feel like other artists used to refer to her all the time but hardly ever do anymore since the whole QFTC etc? I know a few people have said on here she might be signing a new deal perhaps they are trying to regain that sense of mystery she had before, when it was truly about her art and she wasn't involved in social media drama etc ??? If that makes sense

is this her final interscope album? does anyone know what number of albums she's signed on with them for?

I love this. I think this is a really good point. She seems really close to this album, like she really loves it, so she might be extra sensitive about the reception it gets.

Why do I have a feeling that this album is going to emotionally destroy us? When she talked about bringing old collaborators, friends and family to write this album...putting old and new songs on it. It's like with this album she's curated everything that defines her. It feels like a farewell and an epilogue to this 10-year chapter. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel. I'm heartbroken but on the other hand I think she'll feel liberated. Social media can be insufferable and one's mental health should be their top priority. On the other hand, @Arcadia is right. It feels like she's forcing herself to smile. I really hope nothing bad has happened and this is just us overreacting but this video is slightly unsettling.

I don't know that it's a positive development - for her or for us - to leave announcements in the hands of insiders. 
I mean it happens regardless but I feel like people will be even more relentless to obtain info and songs now
I don't know of any other artist who doesn't have some sort of social media presence for announcements (except Lorde but she uses emails)
This makes me think this will either be short-lived, or that she hasn't fully thought it through
It's just not gonna work to not announce anything in advance - it may be how she wants it but I really doubt that Interscope and any book publishers would be on board with that, and them announcing it for her would seem very impersonal, contrived, and at odds with her art, frankly

wait, what if this is why some insiders have been fairly quiet? What if they know a double-release is coming & that they’ve been urged to stay quiet. I mean, this is probably taken a lot more seriously than a single release 

I wish she'd pull a gwen and make an alice in wonderland esque music video and she's throwing tea saucers all over the place but she's also in them at the same time and it's trippy and chaotic like the doin time video but more mind-bending effects can u imagine that
