i know that we just got the interview and stuff but im so incredibly bored i cant, i would suck a mouldy dick for having the itunes snippets rn

I think its just bc a lot of people here love Lana and probably disliked seeing her let down on camera after campaigning for the Grammys and sorta just being ambushed. They were making a big fuss and praising her but ultimately just used her something something about being an artist that shaped a new wave of music but then praising Eillish for her emergence and current pop relevancy when for the most part both had moody music, but they ultimately went for Eillish bc she was current even if Lana was considered to be a lot more original and let's face it less in ur face gimmicky trended how Eillish might be easily more perceived. 
 
Both do mold culture greatly it's just that Lana's usually just forgotten even when an entire sleu of artists began trying to replicate her sound. The way artists had a wave of trying real hard to sound like Rihanna, and currently like Ariana w their vocals and song content. I do think she's an underdog in that sense and she's usually more picked on, and praised only when it benefits publications etc. It's just shallow and fake so it probably extends that mindset to fans but thing is and we know this is that pop culture n music shouldnt be rules of thumb for measuring quality. Thats always been a clash. 
 
Lana's just extremely underappreciated while culture benefits from the stuff that she does without getting the proper credit she DESERVES. Which can be frustrating. So maybe that's where it stems. Wanting her to be treated better and if not, just fairly. 
 
Personally, I think perspective'll show how her work is ahead of her peers when it comes to her wordage, consistency and trademark original sound etc. But it'd also be great if she was appreciated in the now too. It can be difficult already knowing things ahead of others, and then being paid dust and having someone else take credit because of favoritism. It lacks integrity as society. 

so i had a dream that the album leaked and i was having a listening party with one of u guys (not sure who) and i started crying and getting real pissed off because she wasn't singing on any of the tracks, like every song was a collab and lana's voice was barely there, it was her worst album
 
then @electra came in and told me to turn my computer on and off again 

Lana saying that it feels like a "fight " to her when she is listening to album gives me kinda UV vibes, which means that this album will be a masterpiece.
Also her saying that her voice in the chorus of White Dress  sounds not great makes me think that her voice will sound very raw, emotional & unique in the chorus

I'm gonna do White Dress, but no snippets. White Dress will be so powerful that it deserves its own moment to process. There's also so much we don't know about the album so release day will be full of amazing surprises regardless.

im glad she's going back to the dreamworld, i really hated how "present" she became with LFL and NFR. Nothing interesting about reality, i want to escape when i listen to her <3

i get the concept charlie was going for here but it wasn’t executed nicely at all. her face looks like the monster that hides under my bed at night waiting to snatch my ankle. im assuming it’s the lens or bad photoshop because her face is NOT that long or lopsided  she looks mid-stroke im so sorry i wish that entire family would just put the camera down once and for all

Lana has a right to defend herself, and speak on the hate she gets from everyone. She is very divisive, and people hate her for no reason, even before QFTC, when I would tell people I loved Lana, I would usually get negative comments about how she's "fake", or a bad singer, or boring. For years (her whole career) she has been dragged for almost no legit reason.

I can't with the ageism on this site. Ever since she crossed the 30, people on her talk about how she is "almost 40", "settling down" and "old, mature and looking back at the days of her youth"

2020 made me immune to the lana hate so im excited for the interview and i hope she spills something new about music

I'm all for dark looks but in this she looks like someone who works at one of those dark retail stores who have bad customer service workers who find excuse to bring their problems to work too casually. 

LMLYAW is a gorgeous mature heavenly dare I say masculinly assertive track. She's handsome. She's like the scent of sandalwood and warmth in ur outerwear when it's winter outside. Or the scent of the wind, the cool wind after the rain n the skies clear to blue
