Me explaining to Ben why Lana's hairdresser doesn't deserve gay rights
 

okay so I don’t know how to post screenshots on mobile BUT two vinyl stores have said the official release is next Friday (even though google says the 5th which is a Saturday) but they won’t be stocking it and referred me to some place called Piccadilly, who deals with all new releases so I emailed them and they said this:
 
There doesn't seem to be a vinyl release of this record, it may be digital only at the moment. If it was going to be pressed on vinyl we'd definitely be stocking it, so maybe check back in a couple of months.
 
I don’t really know what to think of that 

i love being part of this delulu support group  but instead of supporting each other on the path of getting better and becoming more realistic, we support each other by egging each other on and snowballing each other's delusions to feel better. we're amazing

gurl, hairstylists know EVERYTHING. if she can trust him with her hair, she can trust him with everything.

What I don't get it is that how the hack Sheridan even knows something? He's just her hair stylist and not her manager. Even if he did some work for a video or a cover it'd be at least two weeks before the actual project would come out and even than he wouldn't know when it'd be released. Like he does her hair for a video/cover and that's it. It's not like lana goes upto everybody saying every tiny detail. Which makes me believe this an video interview or TV performance.

id hope it would be related to the album, to do something exactly a week before "release" and not have it be any type of single, reveal, etc. would be so fucked

It does sound like a joke but no it's not, she and Chuck we're spotted outside a witch house by a person who was doing a live stream on twitch  wild 

And I think  @lanadelrey could be right...three days and 4 midnights could be mean that we got something on Friday and Saturday
 
Maybe Album preorder +cover &tracklist on Friday  and maybe an album trailer on Saturday or maybe a single 
 
Can't wait for tomorrow....I'm so hyped for COCC right now!!
 
Imagine she would really drop the album this week...I would pass out and that would be A FUCKING SURPRISE
 
Well....at this point it would be a surprise if she actually releases  COCC on Sep 5th and not delay it

its one thing for her to lie to us in the past that's her business. but during a PANDEMIC when I have SO MUCH FUCKING TIME ON MY HANDS? no ma'am you best not

also adding onto what I said here. I also believe she tried hard to make radio friendly pop music at first and by the time she took off as an artist, she was struggling between making some kind of music that really resonated with her vs what the label wanted her to be doing. She could've just as easily sent her label a bunch of unreleased pop tracks and said "here's an album", we literally have hundreds of tracks she could've used. but she didn't want to be a radio puppet and she didn't want that to be who LDR is. she wanted to be a storyteller with her music, not just some robotic pop artist, which she luckily put her foot down during the UV era and said she's making what she wants or nothing at all. period. 
 
this is actually what's made me love her so much. bc she gets to make what she wants, she's honestly one of the most, if not the most, authentic songwriter of our time right now.

I think her next post will be an announcement. Dude - almost 1 week. I TRUST HER. She would tell us at this point if the album is delayed and wouldn't be this active. She knows that we are starving for the COCC so she can just troll and promote other shit like her poetry/friends. I manifest

I have nothing interesting to add but I just wanna thank you all for keeping this thread alive and fun to read with all your crazy GIFs and manifestations and theories. 

All those throwbacks to glamorous Lana and old songs since "question for the culture" got me very excited. Maybe it's just her posting random fan edits but who knows... I still don't know what to expect from this era

I get excited anytime Lana remembers that she released a record called Honeymoon 

He almost always leaves me on Seen (and that's when I tell him stuff about this creepy dude who is fully off the hinges/threatening) so I was pretty surprised that he responded to this. I think it was a combination of the fact that he was on IG right when I sent it + as I said, they don't want any leaks. He didn't even have time to read that article before he responded to me about it, so I think it was like a knee-jerk reaction, almost ... shutting doen anything and everything that's about the album prior to its release, true or not, to keep everyone guessing.
The fact that the article is now gone indicates that he probably told them to take it doen.

I just messaged that record store she posted about to see if they were expecting any new vinyls in the next two weeks. I'll see what they say
