When all the randomass pictures she’s been posting of ghetto venetian blinds were a tease of her upcoming homeless chic interior furnishings line called CasaDelRey

I think it is meant to be taken literally as wedding imagery but all of those things are slang for drugs (according to Urban Dictionary lol). I wonder if she purposely picked things that evoke a wedding, but have this other, darker meaning — which suggests something more tragic, namely, that of a marriage which never ended up lasting.

I can't find anything referring to drugs in that song lol. I've always related it to Life is Beautiful, I think they share a similar vibe.

I don’t think of any of those things as being drug references at all. To me it paints a picture of a really fancy wedding set in the countryside, at like an old manor or something

Fine China is such a beautiful song with beautiful lyrics about a failed engagement to be wed.
This is how I interpret the lyrics of the song and how I believe it related to Lana’s life at the time of its’ recording.

I think the most revealing part of the whole song are the opening lines:

“I wore diamonds for the birth of your baby, for the birth of your son
On the same day my husband to be packed his things to run.”

I believe the first line is a reference to Lana being present for the birth of Jaime King’s son James on the 6th of October 2013. Here you can see a picture of Lana with Jaime and her new-born baby in the hospital, wearing a diamond necklace https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/lanadelrey/images/5/57/Newmanbaby.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150716232607
Jaime has said publicly that Lana stayed with her during her entire labour which was over 26 hours long!
Additionally, I believe the second line is about Lana’s engagement to her former fiancé Barrie James O’Neill. The two were rumoured to get engaged on July 21st 2013 after Barrie proposed on Lana’s birthday. You can read a Daily Mail article discussing the engagement rumours here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2549794/Lana-Del-Rey-boyfriend-Barrie-James-ONeill-secretly-engaged-June.html

From the lyrics of the song we can assume that while Lana was with Jaime at the hospital, Barrie packed up his things and left Lana (I think this means he packed his stuff up and moved out of the house he was sharing with Lana at the time after a fight). Lana and Barrie were not seen publicly together again until a month later on November 1st 2013 at a Nylon magazine event. So, it seems any fight they had was resolved by this point.
Fine China was recorded in December 2013 with Rick Nowels in the same sessions as Your Girl, Yes to Heaven, Is this happiness, Sad Girl, Shades of Cool and I Can Fly.
Considering how Lana has stated multiple times that her lyrics are deeply autobiographical, it is my interpretation that Lana was writing from the viewpoint of the experience she had in October of that year, when she thought her engagement to Barrie was over and the dreams she had of her wedding were crushed.

One of her best songs, released and unreleased. The lyrics are so beautiful yet sad and haunting. Production is ethereal and better than a lot of her other ballads. I love this song so much

It's one of her greatest songs in terms of lyrics and symbolism. Like fine wine her songwriting skills get better with age and experience. What I mostly concluded is that the soon to be husband was either Barrie, or the guy who she generally sings about in most of her work (K/Jimmy/Joshy). Additionally, I found it shocking that based off of this song it was Barrie who left (allegedly). This was news to me because I was under the assumption she left him due to her saying something along the lines of "hes a great guy but has some things to work on". To be quite honest I always felt deep down she would never end up being with him. I know it sounds harsh but her relationships in the past exceeded the adornment and companionship that she displays in her music compared to what they had. It a much different kind of love it seemed to me. Though Barrie just was a good source of comfort in the present, and they liked the same music and they fulfilled the rocker couple image. Idk.

Zero song on UV is a filler, this album is perfect because every song including the deluxe and outtakes are perfect, literally every song deserves its place

    I went to Paris (Texas)
With a suitcase in my hand
    I had to leave
    Knew they wouldn’t understand

    When you know, you know
    When you know, you know
It’s time, it’s time to go
    When you know, you know
    Then the more you know
    It’s time to go

I took a train to Spain
Just a notebook in my hand
And I went to see some friends of mine
    Down in Florence, Alabama

    When you know, you know
    When you know, you know
It’s time, it’s time to go
    When you know, you know
    That it’s time to leave
    Like the summer breeze

    When everyone’s star is bright
    Brighter than you are
    It’s time to go
And you’re the only one left
Dancing while they’re on the floor
    Time to go

    I flew back home
    It seems everything’s the same
    (Venice, California)
    Except that you weren’t home
Hello, I called to know why (but)

    When you’re home, you’re home
    (Venice, California)
    When you’re home, you’re home
    (Venice, California)
    You’re home when you’re alone

    When you’re right, you’re right
    When you’re right, you’re right
    Even when you’re wrong

also, while we are at it, can u pls explain one more thing, that i remember also was asked by several users here
honeymouns posted these intended tracks for tropico ep
"I suspect the Tropico EP tracklist would have looked like this or something very similar:
    Angels Forever, Forever Angels
    Hollywood
    JFK
    Body Electric
    Gods & Monsters
Money Power Glory (Demo, not the leaked one)
    Tonight
    Black Beauty (Demo)
    I Talk To Jesus (Demo)
    Bel Air"
do u consider these tracks also was like a early idea for tropico ep with paradise tracks? after boz explained everything about tropico, this tracklist is the only thing that bothers me, should i tag it in masterpost that tropico ep initially started as an album (different from tropico uv concept)? i hope icould explain it cuz this one honeymounz trackist really not letting me sleep
