Made another album cover (how many times will I keep doing this?  )! What I imagine a cover shot by Neil Krug could look like. I would love if she adopted a luxury air-travel aesthetic! 

What's up everyone, thought I'd say hi for my very first post ever. Been stalking ya'll for literally years (6 years + maybe...) laughing and crying with ya'll behind the scenes, but I thought I'd finally bite the bullet and make an account. Here for the tea and everything in between.  Also here to stir the pot with some album concept art to keep us going while Ms Del Rey says nothing on social media. Cheers!

Gluten morgen ladies. I'm awake, refreshed, and having my summer weight-loss breakfast consisting of coffee and grapefruit. As I think about this topic I'm always torn between "it's not always up to Lana, it's her managers/label's decisions" vs. "nah this bish decides her own tracklisting and she blue balled all of us by dangling the Yosemite carrot she never delivered." That being said I don't think it's smart to follow her lead 100%.
Speaking of Yosemite tho...I'm going there for the first time next week and UAK I'mma be looking out for our plaid-shirt kween like two girls wearing the same dress at prom. If I stumble upon her what questions ya'll want me to relay?

Not only was NFR a “masculine” album in the sense that the title was a man’s name, but also the fact that she takes on a traditionally masculine role on the album cover and in the narrative, where she leads the dance through a relationship (particularly in MAC through the “I’m your man” affirmations). I think that explains why the album was received so well, which was because Lana presented a very commanding presence with this record, which proves the point she made in the Question for the Culture post. “Norman’s little sister,” being Chemtrails, will maybe see her step back from a role that is  typically associated with masculine characteristics and see her meditate on her own feminine “fragility” in relation to the romantic/sexual liberty that she feels society’s modern woman is seen to disassociate from in order to be seen as empowering;  I think Lana will offer an outlook through which women don’t have to be one prescribed thing in order to be seen as empowering. I think this record will contain a lot layers thematically and may lend itself to a certain inclusivity of all types of women, given the fact that Lana’s catalogue has seen her be more than just one type of woman, all of which are valid  Lana’s ability to be vulnerable is strength and empowerment, in my opinion. I’m thinking Let Me Love You Like a Woman will tie really nicely into this concept.
