    I recently discovered this little unknown band and absolutely love them. They have 3 EPs out and one album consisting of 10 songs called Water which was released in June 2019. If you're into dreamy, 50s/60s kind of music maybe you'll like them too.

    "Inspired by the roots of rock & roll, the sun-soaked surf that crashes against California’s golden coastline, and the possibility of a world that exists parallel to our own, SadGirl’s Misha Lindes crafts music wholly authentic to his own experience. It’s nostalgic for a former era, yet happily relevant to right now, and that’s why this trio has risen from the core of the local DIY scene to become celebrated hometown heroes. I was able to catch frontman and guitarist, graphic designer, and visionary Misha Lindes while lounging at a pool party to discuss SadGirl’s aesthetic, transcendence, and debut album Water—out now on Suicide Squeeze." - L.A. I especially like the song Strange Love:

    It took me so long to figure out how to upload photos onto here... embarrassing
    Anyways... I've been drawing Lana a lot more frequently ( album hype) these days -- So I decided that fellow ldr fans might enjoy my stuff!

    But as a fine artist once said: "I love when my picture turns out like how I pictured"  xx

    (this one is a work in progress I'm not sure that'll ever finish lol}

    September 29th, 2020: Lana Del Rey's first hardcover poetry book 'Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass' has been released worldwide.
    This is Lana's first hardcover poetry book release with publishing company Simon & Schuster. The entirety of Lana's advance from the book will be donated among three different organizations, including the Navajo Water Project.

    Hardcover ● Apple eBook ● Kindle eBook

    “Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is the title poem of the book and the first poem I wrote of many. Some of which came to me in their entirety, which I dictated and then typed out, and some that I worked laboriously picking apart each word to make the perfect poem. They are eclectic and honest and not trying to be anything other than what they are and for that reason I’m proud of them, especially because the spirit in which they were written was very authentic.” —Lana Del Rey

    Lana’s breathtaking first book solidifies her further as “the essential writer of her times” (The Atlantic). The collection features more than thirty poems, many exclusive to the book: Never to Heaven, The Land of 1,000 Fires, Past the Bushes Cypress Thriving, LA Who Am I to Love You?, Tessa DiPietro, Happy, Paradise Is Very Fragile, Bare Feet on Linoleum, and many more. This beautiful hardcover edition showcases Lana’s typewritten manuscript pages alongside her original photography. The result is an extraordinary poetic landscape that reflects the unguarded spirit of its creator.

    So excited for this, just as much as I’ve been for her records. I really feel that the poetry has brought us a lot closer into Lana’s inner world, which is a real blessing to even have her share with us!
