And it's about time we got Cherry Blossom and DEALER! I actually enjoyed Arcadia so much more than her other recent work and piano ballads. It very much is reminiscent of the era when Cherry Blossom was leaked so it's nice to know that her older material will not be out of place. 

She does this at her live shows too and I have to wonder why she's so hellbent on acting like this with the same fans. When I was at one of her shows in 2018, she announced through the mic that she "recognized some people in the crowd" (which to me indicates people who literally have the money to travel city to city and follow her) and went down to only interact with them and not anyone else. I've never seen any other artist do this. 

Yeah maybe my post came off wrong, I wasn't blaming her (although as @Lemonade Tea said she does have favourites) but many fans have no boundaries. Like okay, if you have the money and means to follow her around the US or even the world that's your business, but I don't think she should reward that with attention. It's not beneficial for her or for them, because she's just encouraging this brand of toxic frenzied stan behaviour that happens both on and offline.
I mean there have been people (or at least, I know of one person) who even attended a Churchome service just to be close to her, other people have been to her house, etc.
So maybe this is partially an attempt to keep people at arm's length (out of sight out of mind concept), and I can't blame her for that, especially now given that there's a baby in the family.

Her Twitter had such a great reign, so many iconic and powerful tweets that came from there over the last 12 years.

I’m fairly certain this has been her plan all along.  Remember during COCC she talked about knowing where she needed to go as an artist, but that it was going to be very hard to do?  That, along with the line “not from the land of the palms so I know I can’t stay here / I’m not native,” leads me to believe that she’s going to leave LA and commit to a quiet simple life somewhere in the middle of North America and just focus on her art.  I’m sure Joan Baez has been a real mentor to her during this process.

I think it's best for her, and her music too- when just the other day I was talking about how the social media references in her music are annoying... 
 
It would be cool if Lana's actions here encouraged younger people to step back from it too, like Mars Argo's iconic "delete your facebook", but let's face it, us stans are a TYPE of people and we need to talk constantly about everything 
I hope she at least takes a year or two break, but I'm certainly going to be paying more attention to any interviews or videos posted from now on. I'm not openly begging her to become elusive again, but I just have a good feeling about this. 

Yesterday I was like wtf but today I find all of it rather amusing
Obviously I hope there is nothing amiss and that she feels better for ditching socials, but she went about it in such a dramatic Cancer way
I, an Aries, find it impossible to understand why you wouldn't just yell at people and then log off

Feeling like a ~lost little girl~ without mama Lana on IG  But again, I know this decision is one she's making out of her best interest, and I hope she's able to find the peace and privacy she's looking for. In the meantime, I'll miss her endlessly, and will always be sending her so much love ♥️

Probably a wildly unpopular opinion, and nothing against him personally but picking out a few people and giving them special treatment is just really cringe to me. There were countless fans in the comments who seemed devastated; I bet the vast majority didn't get shit but that ^ guy does cos he has the money and means to go to her shows, probably lives in LA etc

she's got to have some marilyn monroe and elvis covers on there, just makes sense. i'm hoping for some more nancy sintara covers too plus billie holiday and lesley gore
