i began this journey november 2021... it has been a long and complex road and sometimes hard and i have so many photoshop documents and god was it annoying for a while because i was juggling midterm exams at the same time literally like hell for a minute but anyways finally today i was able to open the best thing i have ever received in my entire fucking life after it sat in my university's mailroom for 3 weeks waiting for me to flock to her, genuinely the main reason i was okay with going back to school after winter break, the thing i've been waiting for for what feels like forever my child my baby my love and my life the sun in my sky and the moon in the nighttime my guiding light and my saving grace

On Friday, Lana Del Rey attended singer Elle King’s son’s 2nd birthday party in Nashville, Tennessee.

im pretty sure the difference is partially because of the way the polaroid is warped when being held - they curve upwards so everything in the middle of the photo would look bigger

yeah i think she's definitely saying daddy because of the possible lyric connection to love her madly by the doors (there are lots of other songs that use love you madly / want you badly lyrics but i feel like it's most connected to this)

this isn't exactly about the lyrics themselves but it's still embarrassing that i literally did not notice there were lyrics during the entirety of the SOC bridge for a really long time..... i noticed the first line and then just thought it was a nice solo guitar moment for the rest 
 
also "i push you high, and you lean off/and you lean on/angelina"... personally im a proponent of one of the first two

well it was about time tbh it's just SO clear she doesn't wanna do any of this anymore. it's for the best, we won't be on edge expecting new projects and she'll figure out her life
at some point she'll come back to music and maybe with a clearer head and more inspired. I really am very against the AI thing that's been going on, so I'd rather have her step away from music than ruining her discography. ofc her past albums are untouchable but it's just so sad to see the huge potential of the music that comes from her own mind being replaced by computer BS. that being said, I hope she'll be fine, even though I complained a lot about her lately, her music is still one of my favorite things in this world and I really hope she'll heal and recover from whatever is going on

what i'm getting from a lot of the posts in this thread is people just hate repetition... but i don't think that necessarily means it's a bad lyric 

now that lana's performing again maybe it's time to share something i've been working on since january 2022 (😭) ... comprehensive website of all of lana's performances / performance looks
 
this website (glorified tumblr blog) beautifully showcases my deep and troubling psychotic tendencies .. it was originally intended just to showcase her performance outfits, but there are also some with full concert videos (anything lizzy era, and 90% of the 2013 leg of the paradise tour) and you can organize outfits by color! and by location! and by tour! and year! and also search for whatever you want like a specific festival or city in the search bar
 
...also the website is a little .. slow ............... so i HIGHLY recommend sorting by year / color / tour before scrolling through, because trying to scroll through on the main page is a little difficult depending on your computer / internet connection (this tumblr theme has issues that idk how to solve and i haven't found one that i like better)!
it's a work in progress to me because i'm still trying to go through all the photos and replace them with the most hq photos i can find. some posts are better than others!
