I feel like Jack definitely can create distinct tracks across artists (Pills by St. Vincent, Sober II by Lorde, Venice Bitch, etc.), but what the final product sounds like will ultimately fall to Lana.
 
Maybe I’m biased, but I think some of his more recent works sounding similar across certain artists has to do with NFR sparking a heavier interest in mainstream folk. From my perception, at least, it seemed like a lot of artists hopped on the “NFR train.”
 
However, I agree that not all folk albums have to have the same musical elements and motifs that span across some of Jack’s production discography. Then again, most producers do tend to have their own signature sounds. I dunno.
 
I was hoping for a new producer but also think he could shatter our expectations if Lana actively pioneers a different direction musically, but I guess that really goes for anyone she works with.

Not to downplay Rob's talent but I think we are overestimating his contributions to the album. He's probably just playing the piano in a couple of songs, it's not like he's the main LDR9 producer and we're only getting sad piano ballads about their family 

everyone wants an uv 2.0 until they get one and realize recycled sounds and concepts that don't match the artist's current headspace are lazy and inauthentic as fuck 

i actually really love wce. it’s not one of her best songs cuz lyrically it’s kinda bare but the instrumental is really dreamy and reminiscent of UV which i enjoy so much

i personally wouldn’t go as far as calling it misogyny, but it’s often seen as invasive & insensitive to speculate on whether or not a woman’s pregnant, especially when it’s based off of her weight, people have speculated about lana being pregnant for years, a lot of the times based off of her body, it’s just a little weird & it perpetuates the idea that because a woman has gained weight, it must be because she’s pregnant, i know most people don’t mean any harm when they do this, & they don’t necessarily want to come across as invasive, it’s just such a personal thing for so many people & ultimately it’s not really our business whether or not she’s pregnant, & by extension her fertility

why is talking about possible pregnancy misogyny? if girls are doing this it's just gossip.
(let's not talk about that on international women's day  )

We love Lana but we have to admit that her style is a hit or miss, mostly a miss. I can name only a handful of looks where she was genuinely breathtaking.

I truly love Iron Gates, it's got a more fortified sound aesthetic to it, and honestly, a lot more cold sounding, like a feeling was once warm but now wintered. that and how one of the cocc cassettes was 'graphed on the beach. in tandem to one of her insta vids where they're by the beach 

to the city just seems a lot more specific and narrow-directional, whereas the latter, that was the last confirmed, feels to me at least, more fruited w myriads more of  possibilities and topics. 

after arcadia, it'd kinda just feel a bit redundant after she's already seemed to move past that, which yes she's got a lot to say but at the same time. it kinda already seems a bit beneath her if im bein honest. it'd be a different case depending on the tone but idk. maybe elevation'll be the middle ground. IF. IF. this is even anything to be confirmed.

i can't believe nfr was almost 3 albums ago, it's so surreal 

this song reminds me of her older music cuz the melody is so clean, simple, sweet, like roses bloom for you or carmen, I feel like her recent albums have songs with less polished melody and sometimes she's almost just talking rather than fitting the music and those don't flow as sweet to me as ones like this <3

I don't think Lana would let that happen tho... she would just record herself farting over 4 piano chords and name it Rock Candy Sweet just to spite Interscope  (or just leak the album herself)
They literally hated UV and she still managed to release it and it was just her second (third depending how you count Paradise) album with them. She obviously has a contract and all that but I think she has full control over her music and she owns her masters (WCE included).

I'm not so sure if she really wants children so much. She has had many opportunities to take a baby break in recent years, but never took them. Now she's thinking about going on tour again (from what I've heard). She also loves her freedom and possibly the decision is hard for her.

No one can accurately say Lana "doesn't want to work" after 2021, especially with 'WCE' dropping earlier this year, and 'Buddy's Rendezvous' on the way.
 
We know she wants one or more children, and she's getting older, so the time is now. She's a Cancer--family is important. Maybe'll she'll adopt, but I don't see her going that route. 
 
Whatever comes next in her life, she'll continue to work, which she clearly loves doing. I remember she once said her muse was "achingly slow," which I've never understood, since she's so prolific. 
 
Even if she takes a break from recording, she's got the songs cut from BB, the covers album, the country album with her buddy, and she could also release the 'Unreleased' album. 
 
I don't think we have long to wait, and obviously, releasing two full albums in one year worked, more or less. 

Between BB and Chemtrails, the latter is the superior album
