my highly exclusive & secretive sources have revealed to me that there’s a song on this album which is very fast-paced & active, it’s conversational, wordy, but will shock fans with it’s sense of notoriety, they have also revealed the lyrics, & they are:

She didn’t say that in a print interview, but in her Apple Music / Beats Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe on July 12, 2017!

I agree that it has poor mixing and makes it less enjoyable. Mixing is an extremely important stage and should not be overlooked.

If this album had better mixing I probs would like it way better. Idk any musical terms or w/e but it sounds thick it sounds muffled like theres this thick nasty gray thick syrup-y consistency in my ears while im listening to it idk if this makes any sense but it does it’s just not pleasant to the ears. It makes it less replayable for me.

It’s an all right song in my opinion, nothing too special for me.

I usually like her high register but it sounds to me as if she has changed the way she uses it for a few years and while it still sounds good to me, it also sounds a bit generic.

Then again, even « Beautiful » grew on me, so I might start really liking this soon who knows.

See that's why Lana is the most random and unpredictable artist out there. I mean a new original song for Euphoria?  I just hope it has some Baddie Del Rey energy. What if it's LA Who Am I

    WOW very artfully said.

i never thought of it this way but you're toooootally right. i was so sick of lana after ultraviolence & honeymoon.
i couldn't really get into them. they felt even more dismal than born to die somehow.
i just felt like it was going deeper and deeper, harder and harder, getting darker and darker etc etc :/
but then LFL came around and i was...... FULLY OBSESSED with this woman again lmao. i still think its her most ambitious album, and if it was a 14 track album, it WOULD be her best work. it is still my favorite, but, i think certain song choices really brought it down.
and it helped me to appreciate honeymoon and ultraviolence a million times more. i don't know how or why. lmao.

but i personally really hope BB was the bridge  cause i like the album a lot in theory, i just felt disappointed compared to NFR & COTCC. i wouldn't mind seeing jack again but i would love if we could reinvent the wheel yet again. but i'll be streaming no matter what it is!

    I skip dealer every time
i think miles Kane makes it sound like a bad crossover with the arctic monkeys and I just don’t think it fits well with the rest of the album at all!

2 months later I can confirm that this is a 6.5/10 - 7/10. Chemtrails outsold with consistency and lyrics but BB does have some interesting ventures sonically that I'd like her to explore more.

I want her Joni Mitchell era to finally arrive, and Chemtrails was the closest to that. But I also want something lush and melodic like NFR and UV ugh I can't wait for the next album.
