I relistened to WW and BB after a while and wow, its so classically nostalgic and beautiful. The part when she says “now my blue banisters are greeeeen and greyyyyy”
Also that ending of WW is so subtle but cool and the last 30 seconds of Blue Banisters with the synth and piano  imagine how it transitions into the next track

oh a cocc/uv fusion in a ww direction with more intricate production is a whole vibe we agree on.

i always thought cocc has great lyrics and great melodies. if the production had just a bit more elements, some electric guitars and more drums the whole album would’ve honestly been one of her best works. it’s still a very good album but it’s sad to think about how much more amazing it could’ve been with more productional elements. yosemite with some drums and strings added. white dress with light electrical guitars and more noticeable drums. a more electronic/drum rich dbjag with more bass…. even sound design wise she could’ve added those natural elements, sounds of sand flying through the wind, a small fire crackling, misty forest  sounds during yosemite, birds chirping in the background during nawwal and so on

Okay everyone has diff opinions but i just heard a preview and I loved it it has growth, complexity, and classic Lorde. i didn’t hear any Lana imo and one of the reason everyone is saying MAC or VB is probably because Of Jack’s recognizable guitar and acoustic style
But it’s not gonna be the best song on the album just like green light or royals weren’t so keep the faith

I don’t like her, she bores me…But I don’t go around shouting it from the rooftops like others do.  She’s just another Lana/Billie/Lorde wannabe who wants to drop into the pop scene…we will see many like her trying to get their 15 minuets of fame. She’s like the Ava Max of Alt pop.

i think some people are unnecessarily hateful towards her, but just because she's young & successful, and can write her own songs, doesn't mean she's free from criticism, some people think her music isn't very interesting and the fact that she became a huge star overnight makes people feel like she's an industry plant or her growth wasn't organic and a lot of people don't like that
