Honestly I remember her saying something about how the controversies make it hard for her to know what to do with her music and to create. A lot of happened after NFR and I’m sure it had a negative impact. Not to be a downer but COCC sounds incomplete. I feel like when all that shit happened she just didn’t want to make the album anymore because she had new ideas. Artists do that all the time, they could be painting a tree but realize a painting of a mountain would be way better so they move on to the next project.

With the mention of him everyone has been hyping up hip hop but I've been over here thinking like maybe he is wanting to do something diff from his main wheelhouse, more experimental per se. So this could really kind of play into that.

LOL she would not do a poetry/music hybrid. she said in an interview not too long ago that she keeps her poetry and music separate, and she doesn’t like making poems into songs because songs should have good melodies.if she wants to do poetry she makes books like VBB or BTIG

I just feel sorry for COCC like she literally constantly said she ‘’wasn’t’’ sure about this album and then when it got released she immediately moved on???
P.S: do we think that maybe the reason she wasn’t exactly sure about COCC was that she was working on so many projects at that time that she got confused or thought that BB/RCS was better?

The album is probably some folk/country genre but the insider refers to it as "Americana" so technically, in his eyes, its not folk or country
