Better stop believing that every time Lana uses colors she is referring to bruises, then y'all are complaining that everyone believes that she is romanticizing the abuse (Wasn't that why they attacked her last year?) Seriously, on twitter people are obsessed with relating everything to abuse since that topic was mentioned, not everything is related to that and I doubt that Lana is referring to that in those songs. That topic was only mentioned in ultraviolence, let it die now.

a gay can dream I keep hoping she chose Mike Dean because of his work with other artists (and just his background in synth-heavy music in general), but it is hard to imagine her moving drastically from her current sound. 
 
Then again, she’s also noticeably leaned into different genres several times (like aspects of trip hop for BTD desert rock elements in UV, folk in COCC, etc), so hopefully we’ll—at some point in the near-ish future—see some variation in terms of genre and production

I really love Yosemite's instrumental. You can hear the bongos. We need more of that for BB but in a more upbeat tempo

This album is going to have some of her most interesting lyrics. There's already so much to unpack with the singles.

This! So far, we know that Mike Dean is claiming (potentially bluffing) that his involvement in BB—outside of WW—is limited, and this makes sense considering Gabe Simon’s Instagram post about his journey on working with Lana on BB. 
 
So…maybe LDR9 is the synth-heavy (potentially hip-hop-influenced) record everyone anticipated when Mike Dean announced his future involvement with Lana. 
 
Then again, with Lana’s speculated tracklist scrapping, it’s possible that her “future work” with Mike Dean past BB will make an appearance on the record. This could explain the new delay as well, but who knows. The uncertainty is killing me lmao

Please Lana, release this album on 20th August, I want to see you get revenge on mizz Lordie 

I think BB is just something she needs to get off her chest before she can move forward, I’m not really expecting this record to be any different than NFR & Chemtrails. Personal and brave definitely, but not a full return to the Lana we’ve been missing and we will probably still have the same complaints 
 
But in QFTC she said “can I please go back to singing about being embodied, feeling beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or dancing for money - or whatever I want ” etc and Mike Dean said he was a fan of Lana and hoped they would work together for more, which I’m sure they will. I think he said he knew of her because some of his friends have worked with her, so he’s probably more familiar with the hip hop side of her music like BTD, and I’m hoping when they work together he’ll channel that energy since it’s what he associates w her lol

Please Lana’s had intimate production with more intricate details on many projects that Rick Nowels did better than Jack did on Chemtrails like songs such as Change or Heroin. 

your mind is so powerful omg. Even without considering the reference to the song in BB, the lyrics are so confessional and almost tangibly descriptive. 
 
I would love to see Lana serve Wildflower Wildfire vocals on a song like this!!
