I could never understand why "Trash Magic" was such a fan favorite in terms of unreleased songs because, having only heard the final version for a long time, thought the "Boy, you wanna come to my motel, honey?...." chorus was annoying and overly-repetitive.
Later on I heard the demo & early demo versions and actually started liking the song (although they are a bit different in terms of the verses). I'm still not a big fan of the final version because I think she took out the best parts of what was in the demos.

Honestly most/all of Born to die except SS and DP, for me bc I felt the melodies and production were a bit odd/choppy. A big chunk of UV. I remember loving all NFR songs the instant I heard it first except FIILY.

Ok but musically Text Book is just what we needed after NFR and COCC. The production is brilliant. If she wants to bring back Zach, Gabe, and Dean for another album after LDR 9  (which I'm assuming is the Mike album) I wouldn't complain at all if it's in a similar vein to Text Book

I'm really curious about WHY you prefer one of them. I really need help because I can't buy both and for whatever fucking reason I like the Spotify one. But everyone says it's ugly and my ex called it "an advertisement for a horse dentist"   The Neil Krug one is obviously the safe choice. She looks magnificent. What do you guys think?
