When Lana wins AOTY and the Ocean Blvd outro with the DON'T FORGET ME starts playing, that's legend right there.

I don’t care if it leaks but a leak this early would be kind of disappointing and would make for a pretty anti climactic end to this pre release  
 
I hope it can hold on for at least another week or 10 days 

Did you know that there's a tunnel under ocean blvd and A&W sound absolutely sublime next to each other...I can't wait to hear how epic The Grants is that leads to the deep exhale of Tunnel and Sweet as a much needed relief between two very intense tracks

Some of you really need to step outside and breathe in the free, healthy, and essential oxygen of the world around you and take in some sunshine (please wear sunscreen!); you get much less of your necessary nutrients when you sit in bed all day making up fake news about leaks and watch spiderwebs build up in your windowpane 

Wasn't planning on doing that anyway, esecially not after the tepid Florals for Spring song. 

It's the way they delayed the release, but there were apparently no delay in vinyl production so record stores are actually receiving the album in time for the inital release date--the mess that's about to unfold in the next couple of days. They're fucking up big time.

My ex fiance's brother works at this cute little record store called high fidelity. And we're still cool, so he let me know yesterday that they got a big shipment and ocean blvd was included. He told me he'd let me snag a copy if we "traded packages" after he gets off work. Idk what that means but I'll be seeing him at 9 pm EST tonight. Stay tuned girlies

this is probably a very unpopular opinion but i'm actually really looking forward to the judah smith interlude, i hope it's chaotic

I'm so excited for the narrative journey this album is going to take us on!  I know she's downplayed the world-building aspects of this latest work, but I just take that to mean she's established the world already in her body of work and now she can focus on the ideas and messaging!  I'm already seeing the threads like how in DYK... she talks about "love me until I love myself" and it's kind of this idea (I feel anyway) about the lengths people go to to try to be remembered (and does it pay off?  I like how it doesn't resolve that idea!), and then in A&W the "character" has, instead of looking for validation from without, become inward with "it's not about having someone to love me anymore", and yet it's still a destructive path!  Sorry I'm just too excited, sorry for the rambling! (I haven't felt a potential A-to-B-to-C journey album from her since NFR and I'm here for it!)

Personally, I don’t think Ocean Blvd sounds like a Blue Banisters song. I think the song has this more dreamy beachy costal polished sound. This definitely differs from the very straight forward raw and simple tones of Blue Banisters 

I’m so excited about Taco Truck x VB. The way she revisited, payed tribute and even sampled older songs/sounds in A&W is absolutely astonishing. Kintsugi saying that Taco Truck’s outro is one for the books makes me even more impatient. And Jack teased it on his IG story today, as well! I’m pretty sure it’ll be a glorious ending to a sublime album. 
 
I’m also very curious about the interludes which are supposed to be psychotic and creepy. I wonder if Candy Necklace is going to take us by surprise, too. I remember BOZ saying that all the long tracks on the album have unusual/unconventional structure and this track has an insane amount of instruments on it. And Kintsugi described it as « massive ».
