Black Bathing Suit reminds me of that IG story Clay posted in September 2020, where Lana was swimming in a pool at night, aptly wearing a black bathing suit. I wonder if she got the idea to write that song around that time/based on the potential reoccurrence of swimming around that time! I feel that it is definitely going to be a more “sensual” song.

I’m so surprised at Sweet Carolina being one of the shorter tracks, but I also think it could be a short and sweet closer where everything she’s needed to say, she’s already said throughout the record  

About 58 minutes? Hell yeah we support this. Let's move everyone, hype train is boarding! Beautiful and Thunder are gonna be the radio pushes, these are obvious facts. And Carolina is short which means it'll be devastating. Manifest all that and a bag of Doritos.

Idk if he said anything on discord. But on atrl someone made a prediction post of where they think their ranking of the songs will be post release. He responded and told them to move If You Lie Down With Me to the top 5 where it belongs. So yes, Oct 22 can’t come any sooner!!!

I'm optimistic and quite excited about Sweet Carolina. Rob and Chuck seem very proud of it. 
 
 
And don't forget that the Barrie/Erickson collaboration is a highlight/top-tier track according to eclipse!
