I have no idea what to expect and no idea how coconuts are supposed to fit into all this 

manifesting a <=13 track cohesive album and a 23 track deluxe album

I just need to know what the sound of the record will be 
 
can a sexy, strong, intelligent  insider let us know what "genre"  it will be please?

I’m still so excited about her “I’m very excited” comment about the announcement Wednesday. It’s so refreshing to hear how excited she is about an album again. She always felt COTCC felt unfinished and while she probably loves BB she never really showed any excitement for it, so I just know it’s going to be her best album in years

boz saying that he was surprised by how much he loved the album means that it mustn't be similar to COCC (which he absolutely hated) or BB (he was very mixed on it). On the other hand, I'm not quite expecting her to go back to her older sound, especially with the mention of automatic writing etc. I'm very curious about this. Perhaps it's her experimental album? 
 
Anyway, I'm very excited about the album title. Her titles are always evocative, and they brilliantly depict the essence of each album, whether one likes them or not. 
 
 

Oh shit really? When did they say this? Can someone fill me in on the highlights from the past 48 hours? I thought I was gonna have 80 pages to read today but they all disappeared overnight lmao 

I’m glad that we don’t have to spend every day counting down the hours in anticipation of something happening, but suddenly next Wednesday feels so far away.
 
I’m really not trying to get myself super hype so I think it’d be satisfied with an album name, album cover, and preorder..especially if the album has a February/March release, getting a song now (possibly) months in advance would make time drag on even more. Like the 3 week wait between COTCC teaser trailer and song felt so long 

After 'Wild At Heart,' 'Arcadia,' 'Violets For Roses,' and 'Black Bathing Suit,' all which, to me, harkened back to BTD, I think we can never quite guess what's coming next, though I think one or more albums of bangers is unlikely.

Usually in Lana's case it's either complete drought or heavy rainfall (in term of news). 
so I think we will have lots of new info on 7th.. like about an album, tour etc.

I'm expecting 200k minimum..given her current streams and popularity.

Imagine her first week sales if she announces the album with at least 4 vinyl variants, CDs and cassеttes...

Unfortunately Lana is a seasoned act, she's well into the winter of her career.
 
I'm fully expecting more laid back/stripped back songs with Grant family and LA friends-centric lyricism. She's been in her folk-singer-songwriter era from 2019 onwards. 
 
I'm still excited at the prospect of new music, but I'm also being realistic--I've learned to manage my expectations. Like she's not going to release another gritty/raw blues-y-jazzy-rock fusion album like Ultraviolence or a dream/baroque pop album like Born to Die ever again... I think and I'm at peace with that.

I'd rather have a lot of tracks, as on LFL. That way we're bound to get more good tracks on average, since, generally speaking, she does produce more good than weak tracks per album. I'm happy to always 'uncheck' or delete or move off tracks I really dislike. I do hope we get 'Crazy For You,' though I think it's unlikely if it is/was a HM outtake. 

Waking up feeling renewed, hopeful, a new lease on life because Lana is coming and the first thing I see is NFR slander. WE WERE DOING SO GOOD

I don't want her to spoil too much but I want her to talk about the album and expand on the whole "automatic writing" thing... or maybe the concept changed since May.

The way the last 48hours have been more eventful than the last three months 

If she only said the announcement thing I'd be only 75% sure it was coming but since we got the website blackout too I'm 100% sure she's coming for real 
 
Like Elle said, she's not throwing random dates around this time. NFR/Chemtrails/BB Lana would have directly said "the album is coming at the top of the year" but she announced an announcement this time
