Super thrilled to read a REAL interview with her, not some Q&A with a fellow artist. This was very enlightening.

There’s a playfulness, freedom and an honesty about her immediate reality on her new album, Did You know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. Tracks flow in a jazzlike trance; classic piano and acoustic songs blend into hip-hop, pop, gospel and choral numbers. Colloquial lyrics move as fast as a Beat writer’s poem: they seamlessly speak to a friend about culture, offer mundane updates on what’s going on in her daily life, present notes on dark relationships. But songs frequently, as Antonoff notes, come together with a “voice of God, some joy or hopefulness”.

despite the lack of music video she's released two singles, went to an award show, put up that petty billboard in tulsa, got featured in at least three magazines AND has a tour incoming. she's promoting it HARD

What about the photoshoot with Joan Baez for the NYT magazine? Shouldn't that be out any day, any Sunday?

this album does not exist, it is an experiment and we are all part of it. wake up! 

everyone here is so dramatic, personally, it doesn't affect me to listen to the leaks or the snippets... I will always have it on repeat when the album comes out.

I'm serious. 

In my opinion, the album is too long, she should have cut some tracks and it would be a little sister to COTCC.
