i think it’s more her team, there’s absolutely no chance she didn’t love recording this in my opinion. it’s got massive old hollywood lore and she references ella fitzgerald in fishtail, which is such a recent song.

I really want this kind of country album cover from her: Long hair, long black coat, leather coat, in the middle of nature... ooohhh i know she gonna pull it tf off 

most artists take 3+ years to release albums  lana is EXTREMELY prolific like no one else. the only other artist i can think of putting out this much music is taylor.

Tbh I don’t want the first single from this until June/July. I hate unnecessary long pre-releases. Especially if she’s still working in it and might be changing the genre

They work in the same town and industry. There’s a lot of inside chatter between producers, songwriters, performers etc I’m sure. A Lana x Beyoncé collab is intriguing though!

Knowing she’s been working on the country album for 4 years, I’m not too worried about the Quavo track being on there. It’s probably for another record that’s already being started as well. 

Don't forget Lana said she was talking with the weeknd that collab might be on the weeknd's album tho

The twitter insider said "no covers", not "no collaborations". 
 
I doubt that the Quavo song will be on the album though. But I *do* think that Lasso won't be a typical "country" album at all. I mean, she used the term "Americana" back in September, which is much broader than "country", and Lana isn't particularly reliable when it comes to describing her own music, lol. 

yeah what I'm trying to get at is that I would prefer to keep it country instead of a mix of different genres like LFL

maybe "country" in Lana's mind isnt so... country that much

no but really. Complains it doesn’t go viral (which it did!! Three songs went hella viral on TikTok and Jimmy was super viral the week it came out) but then also doesn’t do any real promo except for a couple magazines
