i find it very disrespectful to lana that so many fans are hoping the album will leak & are going on about how they deserve to listen to it if it does leak bc they bought 10 thousand copies. the reason to avoid leaks it not about whether or not it affects sales or charts but about respect for lana. if a store sells the album early sure go ahead & buy it & listen to it, you did nothing wrong if you just listen to it & keep it to yourself. but leaking it or actively looking for leaks especially after lana asked fans nicely not to listen to leaks from this album just shows how little respect lana's fans have for her. lana deserves a good album rollout for once where everything goes as planned. & i doubt she had any say in the release date changing so that is no excuse for hoping it leaks either. obviously everyone is going to do what they like anyway but remember self control is good for the soul & it is hypocritical to claim you love lana while treating her like no more than a product to consume whose feelings do not matter.

Mh I think they have a few festivals and that’s it. I think a World Tour would last more than 4 months

hmm her talking about no world building on this album tells me why there are no visuals for it (yet at least) and that's not the focus

I think it has to do with the themes of the songs
 
Born To Die has this Lolita aesthetic/theme throughout several songs even though at the time she released the album she couldn't possibly relate to this theme
 
Chemtrails and BB do have their world but the writing is pretty much like a diary as she described it somewhere
 
I mean I don't think lines such as "Washing my hair / doing my laundry" or "Tex & Mex are in the Bay / Chuck is making birthday cake" would have ever been written for BTD, UV...
I couldn't picture Hope being in her early albums either

I hope this poor old man does not become a victim of leak culture 

The fact that Rob's album has been so visual so far really goes to show that Lana still has it in her, but chooses to dial down on it. Maybe she doesn't want the "aesthetic" that she's become so known for to distract from what she actually has to say. She kinda confirmed that in her deleted tiktok by telling us to listen to the words. 
 
A lot of people misunderstand her intentions with her art, her critics tend to not look beneath the surface and if you think about it that's kind of what lead to the backlash about glamorizing abuse and dating older men etc. 
 
Kinda sad if that's the case since the visuals used to be such a big part of her worldbuilding
 
 
 

I will respectfully be waiting until March 24th to listen to the album ☺️
 
just in my own personal opinion, it would feel wrong for me to listen if it leaked after the horrible events which happened last year with her losing the entire poetry book and years worth of video footage //:

its so funny that some of her songs are essay sentences and some are just.... two letters
