born to die is a classic album. when it came it out i did not listen to it because i had never heard of lana. when i discovered lana, born to die was one of the first albums that i listened to of hers. curious to know what’s everyone’s favorite songs off of it ♡

Blue Banisters has Lana's best piano ballads. That album displays the very best piano work in her discography. It just adds so much in IYLDWM, Black Bathing Suit & Sweet Carolina; though Arcadia & Beautiful aren't my favourite songs of hers, the piano is equally exquisite. 
 
Ironically people call NFR her best work, but that album has the very worst piano work in her discography—the mixing quality and the intricacy of the melodies are just not it. Which is funny considering people are over the piano ballads. 

i’m so excited for lana’s upcoming album because with each album she has been getting more poetic and personal. she even mentioned chuck in blue banisters. it makes me so happy <33

As a former huge fan of Avril in my tween days I can't listen to anything by her after 2013, even the 2013 songs are meh except Let Me Go. She either revisits her pop punk era and style or releases a snooze fest ballad no one cares about. She simply can't evolve as an artist and her entire sthick is how she's exactly the same since 2006. It was cute the first and second time and now it's kinda pathetic. Imagine Lana constantly replicating her BTD era and releasing songs that sound like outtakes of that album?
