When was the last time you stayed out past midnight ?

I’m very excited about this next record. I’m not sure what to expect but I definitely feel it will be unique and more upbeat. I definitely don’t see her leaving Jack but I see her venturing out to working with other producers on top of Jack. 

Yknow, I wouldn’t be upset if she decides to take a break after this album. She’s worked really hard and we’ve received a LOT of content these past few years. Then again, she loves writing so maybe she doesn’t want to take a break (she did say she’s excited about making music for the first time in a long time!)- who knows
 

I feel like it’s going to take us all by surprise, I feel like now she’s at a place where she has been able to tell her story in her own words she’s just going to have fun with what she does next. we’re in for another treat as always 

I just know LDRX is gonna be big...somehow even bigger than Ocean Blvd
It has to be, it is her tenth album (at least) after all

Purge the poison is a bop aswell- I really don’t think Lanas evolution as a songwriter is a big leap from marinas- we have lyrics about iPhone 11s and kissing your boyfriend with Covid- both have become more “normalised” - except Marina is veering more political and Lana is more personal after attempting it during LFL

Oh shit I forgot about venus fly trap. That one IS cool.

The title track is the only one I know well from the album, and I agree, done super well, and i love the high energy. It stands out but all the others must be forgettable

The title track is really well done. I get it’s not for everyone because it is so high energy, but it definitely makes it into her top 10 tracks out of her whole discography
